As someone who has attended several interviews in various industries, here's my advice: i) Be very wary of bosses who behave badly and unprofessionally during job interviews. During an interview, a civilised boss will try to give you a good impression of himself/herself. Yelling at one of his/her staff in front of the candidate shows an utter lack of respect and regard for the other person. You don't want such a boss who has such low morals. Remember that if you are to work for him, one day, he's also going to yell at you in front of another job candidate. ii) If the job description/scope makes you feel very uncomfortable and uneasy, it's another big red flag. Don't try to sweep it under the rug just because you need the job, or because it pays well. You need to be minimally comfortable with the job scope. Of course, every new job will have a learning curve. But if you feel terribly uneasy or stressed out by the job at only the interview stage, it's a pretty clear sign that you are going to feel that same tension (and worse) everyday if you are to take the job. You need to take care of your health and well-being first in order to perform your best. iii) Lastly, I think the HR lady was being very nice to caution you against joining. It's not that she doesn't want you to be employed. Rather, I think she doesn't want to see you suffer and shed silent tears the way she is doing everyday. She feels you are a nice and good guy who deserves better. So please take care, my friend, and look for another better boss to work for. This one's not meant for you. And stress no longer. Go out for a walk, movie, swim, window shop, ice-cream, etc., to forget the interview. Don't let it trouble you anymore, okay, bro?

If I were you, I will definitely not take up the job if being offered. The boss think he is the Emperor huh, supplier willing to cut down the first bargain is considered very good job done by the procurement dept. Where got such things as if the boss not happy and then bargain another level down until he is satisfied with the final cost. From $1200 down to $800 .. ask him to dream on .... with my 25 years of experience, the most a supplier can cut down is a 10% - 15% discount. $1200 -> $800 is a 66.67% discount !!!! If that supplier willing to go at this discount percentile, then I will say this supplier is freaking stupid.. not into business at all. No need fret over this anxiety panic ..... God is hinting to you to forget about this cock job ... Even the HR has already indirectly hinted to you....

The right question to ask is. DO YOU REALLY NEED A CAR TO BEGIN WITH AND WHAT THOSE REASONS ARE? And attract the wrong sort of people. Things to think about I feel at the first stage the idea of buying a car comes to mind. How many of us has gone thru this euphoria of wanting something so bad that itch does not go away and the moment you bought it and the rest of the PROs and CONs of owning a car sinks in... would you still be happy with your purchase or feel stuck to it? For now that you got a car, to let it go might have people thinking you can't afford to keep it or afford it after all. I know, I have friends like that lamenting this after the honeymoon period is over. In tiny Singapore, it is more a WANT than really a practical NEED.
