Guest not a doctor Posted January 6, 2019 Report Share Posted January 6, 2019 please refer your friend to see a medical professional for treatment. i am not a doctor but i had been given the IM injection before. you could request that they add some anaesthetic, in my case was lignocaine. syphilis is alternatively treated with oral doxycycline but it will still require a doctor's prescription as well. penicillin injection is the first line treatment still for most stages of syphilis. again, please ask your friend to see a doctor. cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not being judgemental, but it may help some ppl to break the habit of having casual sex. Stage 1 Syphillis, is only a mild sore, usually painless single sore, no other symptoms . 2nd stage without treatment will be generalised rash over whole body including center of palms area and over the back and sometimes face, 3rd stage is dormant symptomless stage , which can last for years, without treatment, 4th stage is the most difficult to treat for those who drag the reporting and treatment, may include neurological permanent damage, internal organs like heart , lungs , liver may be irreversibly damaged at this stage. usually 等死 at 4th stage, only palliative treatment . VDRL test will show antibodies even after successfully treated for Syphillis. I personally try my utmost to not get STD infection, so that I can give my all to my partner. People are blase about catching STD s in general, according to the handsome hunky Dr. Travis Stork on the far left. He would know the best cure. I read that for some the oral antibiotics don't work or you have allergic reactions. Therefore, just go to a specialist doctor and see what he proposes. By the way with those "my friend has this and I m asking for my friend", I always assume it is the threadstarter himself who is asking and having the issues. Guest guest Posted January 7, 2019 Report Share Posted January 7, 2019 luckily , Singapore being a high income country, there are shortage of Penicillin drugs in the hospitals and clinics, if u had caught it and having it treated in thailand , cambodia and phillipines, the doctors may just send u home with panadols and wait for arrivals of drugs at the end of the month or from UNITED NATIONS aid supply. medbuilt Posted October 15, 2021 Report Share Posted October 15, 2021 sharing an experience from my close friends. it is best to go and see a doctor for any illness you have, they have been trained for it, whatever painful or difficult the treatment is, dont avoid the pain or difficulty of the treatment, wont you want to get heal as soon as possible for any sickness which you might have ? the long you take to get it treated or healed, it might cause irreversible damage to your body or leave hideous marks or scars on your body which cannot be recovered.
