Unlike his previous monster seller, his new album sold only 250k copies worldwide in its 2nd week, a huge drop of over 500k. This new album has no major hits except for 1st single with Justin Bieber. Why was ed sheeran suddenly perform so badly? Is it because of his arrogrant ways? Is it because he is a 1 album wonder? Is it because he is not a good song writer? Is it because ed is not connected to the ground? I am truely shocked by his sudden fall, if this can happen to ed, i shudder to think what will happen to normal people like us. Unlike in the earlier years up till the 90s, life was simpler without internet. In those days, pop superstars sold millions of albums worldwide. Decades ago, before the internet, tumblr and others, there was a much higher price put on porn. With today's abundance of it, it has devalued to nearly nothing. I don't follow his music but it seems that his new album has too many different genres. I would think it's like listening to Spotify's top 20 instead of Ed Sheeran. But does it matter for him? Just like Christina Aquilera and many singers worldwide, there are albums that made it to the chart and there are some couldnt make it. Just like in agriculture too, some harvest rake in alot of money, some seasons just make enough to recover cost. In business also, some products make it into best seller category and some just sitting on the shelves. Mcdonald also, some new menu like nasi lemak burger just couldnt make it but other burger like salted egg burger sell like crazy. But Mcdonald already make a name for himself. Just dun give up to come up with new prosperity burger, you are going to make it. Ed Sheeran got talent n gifted in music. He is going to shock and reshape the world again.
