From my own experience, bodyfat will bound to go up when I increase my calorie intake during clean bulking. So I will have to go into cutting phase/calories deficit when I've reached my desired level of muscle mass gain.

Yeah I have quite a lot of dietary restrictions and generally don’t eat much, trying to take in more slowly
