Does wearing cap result in balding?

Mostly due to genetics. Some guys’ hair follicles are just genetically predisposed to be sensitive to DHT (a byproduct of testosterone metabolism). That leads to male pattern balding. Happens to women too. There are minoxidil (topical) and finasteride (pills) that as a combi may help. But you will need doctor prescription to buy those pills. Not cheap though lol. Try to get treated before the progresses further. Cannot stop totally, but chances of slowing the process may be high. I’m no doctor, so don’t trust my words totally. Go see doc.

Wear cap at the right time.

Don't wear all the time. Scalp needs to breath too.

There are several factors that contribute to hair loss. The occasional cap wearing does not cause hair loss. However frequent wearing of really tight caps may cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia. This is due to strong pulling of the hairs. So it's perfectly ok to wear caps. Just take note of other factors like family history, lifestyle, diet, stress and supplementation.
