gpfun
https://www.destinasian.com/blog/news-briefs/thailand-may-not-reopen-until-2021 If you live outside Thailand, the chance of jetting off to Bangkok, Phuket, or Chiang Mai for a year-end holiday is looking increasingly slim. According to TTG Asia, Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya—the deputy governor for international marketing at the Tourism Authority of Thailand—has predicted that the country’s borders would remain shut to international leisure travelers for the next few months. “I see no signal from the government that the country will open this year,” he said. “The Christmas period, usually the high season, is in jeopardy and I’m looking horribly even to Chinese New Year in February, which is an iffy proposition at best now.”
