Alternative sources of income

Use skill future fund to attend courses like WSQ massage courses,  then can start freelance massage services.

Beside increasing income, equally important is to reduce expenditure,  otherwise how much more income also not enough. List down your expenses and see what can be removed or reduced or finding. cheaper substitution.

Every dollar saved is an additional dollar earned.

Pretty much everyone seems to be having an OnlyFans page these days to make some cash. So try it.

I just google how to make money on only fans without showing face. And google tell me can upload feet pics.

Any more idea without uploading face pics?

Depending on what you like to do. Passive income via generated from room rental, unit trust paying monthly dividend. If you have interest in trading, then you can learn trading US stocks. Before doing it, goes for some courses and use paper trading account to try it out. If you put in effort in learning technical analysis and more importantly emotion management, you can generate consistent trading income.  Just a remember, it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill.

Learning a new skill with incoming generating potential. Make use of the government subsidies and take up those courses that offers job qualifications like massage etc. I start my first lesson today. very interesting. :):) I can't be grab driver because i hate driving.

I hope these effort will help me generate passive income or alternative income leading nice path to happy retirement.   Good luck!

Someone here quote that the dividend collected from your investment (unit trust or bond)  can be used as 2nd source of income.
I don’t deny that BUT let’s say if you are earning $3,000 a month now, so you know how much you need to invest in unit trust/bond to have that dividend pay out of $3,000 each month?! Ordinary laymen might not have that kind of $$$ to throw into his investment portfolio.
Just a thought.

Sell your 35 seconds for side income.  Otherwise buy low, sell high.  Alternatively, sell your secret of becoming a millionaire and charge "the retarded human" by tenth of thousand dollars per lesson.  You become rich instantly and whether your client becomes rich or not, is not your problem once money collected.  How about that?  Lucrative side income right?

But you will have to deal with small claim tribunal court incase they sue you product sold is not as claimed.

I think you have a certain degree of flair and creativity. You certainly have a market for copyrighting or writing short content for stand up comedies. Give you an idea, and you certainly can come up with some original thoughts. Would surely like to collaborate with you to churn out materials (or be a ghost writer).

First thing first. Get a full time job 8-5pm or flexible working hours. Then consider taking 2nd part time upon approval .

1. Part time driver

2. Part time waiter

3. Buy and resell to shopee or lazada

4. Part time tuition zoom or onsite

5. Part time promoter

6. Freelance Trainer for any kind of talents

7. Part time F&B crew

8. Part time cleaner homes condos etc

9. Calefare (actors or extras)

10. Grabfood/foodpanda delivery.

The more money you save and work the more CPF you get to purchase HDB or condo. No need to be ashamed or compare who or what is bigger. Start from small 2-3 room...in life we gotta own at least a property. That is to ensure for future.

Some blue chips give around 5% dividend and sreits around 8%.

You need 150mths (12.5yrs) x 8%pa to generate 1mth income. If you can save 50% of your income, it will take 25yrs.

Can consider to start invest 50% of your income annually and it only take 20yrs after compounding interest to give you one month income. This factor in inflation & increment that you diligently save 50% of annual income after increment.

For example if your starting pay is 2.5k and on second year you reinvest the dividend plus you 2.625k (5% annual increment) x 50% x 12mths x 5% and so on.. after 20yrs your monthly income is around 6.6k and your investment fund worth 100k which give you 80.3k annual dividend or 6.69k per month.

If you commitment/expenses increase faster than your increment, then you need longer period. Vice verse, if you can manage to keep you expenses increase at slower pace than your expenses, then you will hit the goal faster.. some high earner just need 5-10yrs time to 10x their starting pay..  this is why the rich is getting richer
