Many people do exercise to keep fit. It’s not enough if we do not take care of what we eat. The trend today is on plant based diet. Here’s an article to tell why it is good for you.

Good article, have been sharing with friends too.

 

My take is you don't have to follow everything (could be tough for most people).  Follow in whatever way you can or for those aspects you subscribe to (important for motivation). That would already go a long way...need time for your body to adapt too for change of diet...

For now I am still a flexitarian but I've improved by really making my diet 50% meat and 50% plant-based.

 

It would be a gradual change for me because I can not eat all vegetables and some fruits here in Germany are expensive. I'll try the local fruits that they have so it fits my budget.

Breakfast will be wholemeat bread. Dinner will always be brown rice, vegetables, fruits and less meat for me except fish. My stomach is my indication if I am overeating or not.

 

Lunch can be a little unhealthy like instant noodle. Weekends can splurge a little bit- burgers. I dont have a specific limit or allocation of how much vege Vs meat I have to consumer daily, weekly or monthly. I go with the flow...but for sure I know I wont eat fast food or fried food every week. and definitely no white rice.
