Couch surfing is a practice where strangers offer free accommodation for tourists. To do so, you have to go to a website to register to offer your place as available for couch surfing. It could be literally a couch, or a bedroom or even sleeping on the floor. Then anyone could just go to the website and apply.

Yes both are strangers but there is an agreement for couch surfing but nothing else. So while you offer your couch to a stranger you cannot go to the stranger and suck him for payment in return.

i tried couch surfing before and it’s generally safe.

Those straight men come to me and nudge their Ku Ku Jiao on my face.

Ask me to tuck in while hot.

So I Kum straight Ku Ku Jiao but never afraid!!!

Certain people here prefer always to fingerpoint at foreigners coming in conflict with the law, but keep silent when Singaporeans commit egregious sex crimes.

No wonder with such general perception of locals in Singapore the AGC and police was working so onesided during the charges of that poor Indonesian maid who refused to clean the mess of the VIP's 45y old married son's toilet at the son's own house despite having been employed at the fathers home which even lead to a jail term in the first instance trial against the maid.... Really no wonder.

It is stated very clearly - Filipino Ryan Edward Poquiz Perez.  He is FT right?  Not finger pointing at all.  No matter local or FT, if they violate the law, they get punish.  This is fair.  In the case you have mentioned, the local is convicted. If you intend to challenge the severity or fairness of the punishment imposed, then write to the government.  Let them deal with you.

sure. We can all read.

But then what is the purpose of that post saying "another foreign talent indeed" . Must stress he is foreign? Does it make any difference to the matter?

This local Singapore guy Dickson Yeo was caught as a criminal spying for another country in US. You think all American wrote "Oh another foreign talent indeed, ha ha" commenting on his deeds??? And isn't it nothing other than fingerpointing at the fact for him being a foreigner?

How do you know Americans did or did not comment?

Why did you mention "Americans"?

Pinoys are on the Siingapore LGBT news for the wrong reason.  One being stabbed multiple times, by stranger, for daring to request for sex.  This one being charged for sucking stranger without permission.  Often, the main stream media cleverly put them up whenever there is a fight for justice to repeal S377A.  I remember the last time, when S377A was still being debated in court, straits times deliberately cover past stories of gay sex offenders.   I am not surprised by their stunt to make gay offenders the head news this time round again.

I just took an analogy of a Singaporean having committed a crime overseas to explain my point and this Singaporean fellow Dickson Yeo was caught in the US. Therefore it was logic to talk about Americans.

But maybe this analogy was too much for you to understand I assume.

The point was on fingerpointing on foreigners while omitting the crimes of locals. Your sidetracking or creating new petty side issues doesn't serve anything, the same as your repeated taking up of new fights at BW.

Foreign trash should quit playing the victim card each time they are called out for their criminal activities.

Remember this: Foreigners are nothing more than guests in the country. And as guest in the country, who are they to go commit any crimes there?

It is just like a guest in another person's house: Just because the host might break their plates once a while, does NOT give the guests any rights to go break the hosts' bowls and claim that the hosts had broken more plates than them. Just because the hosts may quarrel between themselves once a while, does NOT give the guests any rights to go to their house to pick a fight there and claim that the hosts quarrel more often than the guests? This is basic common sense.

Undeserving guests who gets called out and scolded have no rights to blame the hosts for hosting badly; And any people who dare speaks up for these undeserving guests are mere hypocrites who have the intentions to behave just as badly in the future.

It's just like all those unwanted creatures in the house such as the ants, lizards, cockroaches and rats. All such creatures should NOT have been invited into the house in the very first place. And if they somehow got in, they should be screamed and yelled at, and evicted out of the place IMMEDIATELY. Imagine an entire house crawling with ants, lizards, cockroaches and rats! If there would be anyone who wants to tell the hosts that it is a sin to get rid of these pests, who exactly is in the wrong frame of mind: the hosts or the pests lovers?

As a matter of fact, having pests such as ants, lizards, cockroaches and rats might be better than having such foreign trash as guests. Pests, at least, know that they are unwelcomed enough to scutter and run away when you go chase them off. Foreign trash, on the other hand, knows no shame and can still stay on to fight and argue back with the hosts, and further claim that the hosts commits the same crime of dirtying the house.

The worst are the security guards. These security guards acts as if they own the entire estate, when in fact they are just placed there as security guards by the residents. And those residents are the very ones who are the rightful owners of the estate.

And instead of guarding the estate, instead of keeping these unwanted pests out of the estate, and instead of evicting them out of the estate, the security guards actually invites them to make a mess out of the estate. And when the residents complain, the security guards can can even tell the residents that the hosts makes a bigger mess of the estate than the guests?

Please! There's no denying that foreign trash are foreign trash! No matter how you blame the hosts in the country, no matter how you whitewash yourselves, you are still foreign trash if you don't know how to behave and you only know how to fight for the "rights" of those other foreign trash by blaming the local hosts in the country.

We have every rights to keep our estate free from pests, even if you want to label us as xenophobic in your play of your victim card.  We have seen through those cards now. So, enough playing of your victim card already, foreign trash!

And when everyone was calling Dickson Yeo a traitor, did anyone speak up for him to defend his treachery?? The answer is a resounding NO.

Why? It's simply because anyone with even one ounce of conscience would know what he did was wrong, and nobody bothered to speak up for him. And that's Singaporeans for you: Singaporeans at least know enough of what is right and what is wrong, to know who to defend and who to condemn.

Unlike foreign trash who actually band together with the lousy "security guards" to play the victim card and try to condone those atrocities committed by other foreign trash of your kind.

I am very impressed with how almost every topic always ends up a spat between guest writers on locals vs foreign talent.

it’s like how each Chinese compo ends up with the the narrator waking up to a nightmare. Til MOE decides that such ending renders an automatic fail no matter how well written it is.

Why not we have a specialised thread to cater for such spats?

You forgot to use your other Guest nick to applaud to your own earlier post.

You are sidetracking on the issue involved (as always).

What has this "victim card" discussion to do with the topic and same it has nothing to do with security guards.

Nobody has been playing a victim card and pasted it on Foreigners. You brought this up.

Nobody said here the foreigner is hiding or pretending to be a victim. Only you are inventing this.

The point is: Was it / or is it necessary to focus on the fact that a criminal is a foreigner?

The topic was fingerpointing on foreigners but omitting crimes of locals or keeping silent on crimes of locals.

It does not add anything whether the culprit is a local or foreigner.

It is within the human nature for people to commit crimes.

Surely, there are Singaporeans who commit crimes overseas in foreign countries.

If you had a better memory, you would remember the case of the local who allowed an Ang Moh girl to sleep in his place and then molested/raped her.

Did you then fingerpoint at the local?

Show me one post where you ever praised any Foreigner?

Too many locals focus much too much on local or foreigner and race instead of seeing people as human beings.

The way for calling out all foreigners as trash shows your attitude.

The Covid-19 vaccine has been invented by Foreigners. What if - as you always like to propose so frequently at BW - they had said, the vaccine is only for citizens of the inventor's country?

That is where you end up if you always focus on citizen and non-citizen.

What's so impressive about anything? It is just a very good reflection of the increasing number of foreign trash in the country of Singapore, as evidenced by the quality of posts made by some of the foreigner members here on this board. It's also an overdue fading of the wrong perception of those "glorious" foreigners and the growing intolerance of those trash in the country. As mentioned in this thread, foreignes in other countries should be on their best behaviours, instead of going to other countries and committing crimes, simply because there are also locals who commit crimes there. What's impressive is how the "security guards" and residents can tolerate such trash for so long.

Unless you have these,  any mentioning of "foreigners" is nothing but your pathetic acute xenophobia caused by your feelings of inferiority.

NO, it is NOT "within the human nature for people to commit crimes"! That is the reason why criminal activities are deemed to be CRIMINAL! Sure there are. But do you see any Singaporeans overseas defending those criminal behaviours conducted by other Singaporeans like the way you defend the foreign trash in Singapore? No? What does that says of Sinaporeans overseas and you? At least the majority of them are law-abiding foreigners living in other people's land and they knows what is right and what is wrong, who to defend and who not to. They are completely unlike YOU, who wants to hide or whitewash all criminal activities committed by foreign trash, and even go so far as to give them the excuse of claiming that "It is within the human nature for people to commit crimes" !

Why should ANYONE go praise the foreigners? They are paid to do their work, and they still expect people to sing their praises? As a matter of fact, many of them are in Singapore to do PMET jobs that even the locals in Singapore are trying to get into. And yet, you still expecting them to be praised? For what, exactly? For stealing the locals' lunch, along with their breakfast and dinner?

The only correct proportion is ZERO percent foreigners committing crimes in Singapore to the proportion of locals committing crimes in Singapore.

Unless you are also espousing the same value that "It is within the human nature for people to commit crimes" like what Guest xenophobster had said, and therefore, instead of bringing their best behaviours, foreigners can bring all their criminal activities into Singapore? Are you implying that it is xenophobic for Singaporeans to go against poorly-brought-up foreigners with criminal intentions from entering the country?

There was a time when the Singapore judges were not even afraid to cane that Michael Faye for vandalizing property in Singapore. Now, the "security guards" are turning chicken and loving all those foreign trash so much.

Your question cannot be qualified, since not everybody on this forum are "foreigner" in "foreign lands". For one, I am a local in foreign lands, just like you. It's funny how you keep thinking you are the only foreigner on this forum, even after others have pointed it out to you before. If you are a Singaporean living in a foreign land, you may be a very small minority in such a land.  Therefore, you don't know of other Singaporeans who commit crimes.  Also in this land you are, it may be much fewer actions that are criminal.  In SG, if I chew gum I'm a criminal.  If I stand on a street with some sign without permit, I'm a criminal.  If I have gay sex, I'm a criminal, etc. etc.   This issue of crimes by foreigners is so vague, so relative.  Why not leave it alone,  and stop condemning... foreigners?   Especially...  if you are one of them!

Let's get back to the main topic here.   No one is criticising gay foreigners in Singapore.  They are always welcomed to add to the numbers in our population and lend more support by putting pressure on our skewed laws against the gay.  What we disagree here is, some of these foreigners tend to openly solicit gay sex, with straight strangers and then turned into an unflattery news which could be avoided. Not every straight people are meek and would remain silent if they felt insulted. Gay foreigners should stop thinking Singapore scene is the same as Thailand.  When many local activists are still trying to convince the court to overturn S377A, the less news about gay crime, the better.

Unless you are blind, you must have seen gay foreigners in Singapore being criticized here.  And you yourself are criticizing gay foreigners... who don't know that Singapore scene is not the same as Thailand scene.  Why should they know?  Are there warnings in the tourism brochures, or at Changi  immigration gates?   Of course the less news about gay crime, the better.  But the main reason 377A has not been overturned is not gay crime but conservative sanctimoniousness and prejudice.

"gay foreigners" were being criticized here because of the CRIME they committed! Why? Are you again trying to to play the victim card and absolve these "gay foreigners" of their CRIMINAL ACTS, just because they are "gay" and they are "foreigners"? Furthermore, this has nothing to do with any enforcement of 377A which you brought up to distract everybody. Instead, this has everything to do with a Filipino who went to suck the cock of a couch-surfing traveler without consent.

Which part of the post below is it that you do not understand? It seems like Joe Biden's dementia might be more infectious than the COVID-19 B177 strain.

Guest xenophobster

Nobody here agrees to any crime(s) committed by any criminal irrespective whether the criminal is local or foreigner.

Why need to emphasize whether someone is foreigner or local?

But unfortunately that doesn't get into your head!

By previously using your sentence as " having nothing better to do than to add their love for foreigners"  shows clearly to everyone your foreigner hate and xenophobic standing.

Are foreigners less of a human? Why do you need to make a difference?

There will be locals who are criminals as there will be foreigners who are criminals. That is the reality. And that is what I meant with saying it is within the human nature for some people to commit crimes. It is a social thing. But you did not get the point. Yeah, we know your limited abilities to understand simple things.

But thanks for showing everyone at this Forum once again that you have nothing else in your brain as to use the Forum to denigrate foreigners and make disparaging comments on foreigners and that was the only purpose in your posts, exactly what the Member Blow away was complaining about.

The current news article on the recent case with the couch surfing did not say he was openly soliciting sex with a straight stranger. And what are you saying? Gays in Thailand, who are foreigners, approach straight Thai guys for sex acts? Hilarious.

And your forgot the local guy who sucked the drunk straight guy in the toilet at Suntec City? He was a local. If that was not soliciting... so what do you want to say. Locals know how to behave and don't try to use straight guys in exploitative situations?

Where is the difference to the couch surfing guy? Locals behave better??? Come on please.

SINGAPORE - A male security guard on duty at Suntec City performed oral sex on a drunken man after finding him collapsed on the floor of a toilet.

Low Chih Kin, 35, took advantage of the 36-year-old man, who was lying motionless following a heavy drinking session, a court heard.

Low was sentenced to six years' jail and three strokes of the cane on Wednesday (Nov 21), after pleading guilty to one count of performing an unconsensual sexual act.

The Guest below really pointed out everything ahead of time. First, the trash plays the victim card. And when that fails, these foreign trash who should be here on their best behaviour start claiming that the locals commit crimes too.

Don't forget, "it is just like a guest in another person's house: Just because the host might break their plates once a while, does NOT give the guests any rights to go break the hosts' bowls and claim that the hosts had broken more plates than them. Just because the hosts may quarrel between themselves once a while, does NOT give the guests any rights to go to their house to pick a fight there and claim that the hosts quarrel more often than the guests? This is basic common sense."

Like what was said: "having pests such as ants, lizards, cockroaches and rats might be better than having such foreign trash as guests. Pests, at least, know that they are unwelcomed enough to scutter and run away when you go chase them off. Foreign trash, on the other hand, knows no shame and can still stay on to fight and argue back with the hosts, and further claim that the hosts commits the same crime of dirtying the house."

Seems like everyone knows the foreign trashes' patterns more than badminton already.

Guest what the numbers say
On 1/29/2021 at 6:51 AM, Steve5380 said:

Your post is complete nonsense unless you have reliable figures that allow a comparison of

a) the proportion of foreigners committing crimes in Singapore

b) the proportion of locals committing crimes in Singapore.

Unless you have these,  any mentioning of "foreigners" is nothing but your pathetic acute xenophobia caused by your feelings of inferiority.

There are numbers in Singapore available.

In proportion to the total amount of foreigners in Singapore the foreigners commit less crimes than Singaporeans in relation to the amount of Singaporeans in Singapore.

Even the amount of foreigners in jail is only 1/20 of locals in prison.

The numbers clearly say far less foreigners commit crimes in Singapore than Singaporeans in proportion to their numbers.

This xenophobe Guest Guest would never inform you on this as the facts contradict the imagine he/she intends to draw at BW.

You tell me which country will have a large number of foreigners in prison than the locals? If that is to happen, then I tell you, whatever country that might be, will be super cham liao!

The only time when the number of foreigners outnumber or increase in relation to the locals, occurs when there is war and the prisoners of wars need to be thrown into detention one place or another.

Besides, you want to know why, during normal peacetime, the number of incarcerated foreigners is usually lower than that of the locals? That's simply because the government do not want any diplomatic controversies to occur by imprisonment of other nationalities! Is that so hard to understand, STUPID? So, as far as possible, and except under special circumstances, any governments would just want to fine the foreigners or, at most, give them a short jail sentence, and then deport them out of the country as quickly as possible. (And of course, there is always the likelihood that some of them may sneak in again with another passport or whatever, as had been the case in Singapore in the past.)

Do you remember the Little India riots from a few years ago? Of the hundred over Indian-national rioters, only a handful of them were jailed, while the rest were quickly and swiftly deported out of the country asap to prevent a diplomatic nightmare from happening.

So, yeah! Don't use these types of misleading figures to tell us that foreigners are so law-abiding here in Singapore, by telling us some irrelevant figures pertaining to the number of foreign trash in our prison.

We know all your foreign trash bullshit and bluffs now!

This is a blatant lie!

The Little India rioters were only deported once they had served their jail sentence in Singapore.

Are you making a mockery of the police force and the judiciary of Singapore now?

No, sorry it is still spreading lies.

Please show us any evidence for any rioters not having been investigated and/ or been swiftly deported out of Singapore asap to prevent a diplomatic nightmare from happening on the post you did here:

You have been caught again for spreading blatant lies and doing myth building of falsehoods on BW.
