My patella is broken. How to replace?

How do you know your kneecap is broken, and not just injured?   If it is broken you need medical attention and a bracelet to keep the pieces aligned (like any bone fracture).

But you may have just banged it really hard and it does not feel broken, then the solution is to reduce inflammation applying an ice pack.

You can get plenty of information about your problem by just googling "patella".

I dislocated my patella and it had a hairline fracture from a very very forceful fall about 15 years ago. I was put on plaster cast for 3 weeks followed by 2-3 months of physiotherapy. Total recovery should be around 6 months. I also had 2 big syringes of blacken clotted blood extracted from that area. Yes it’s painful but it is unlikely to be a broken patella. It’s not easy to get a broken patella. Most importantly - GO TO A HOSPITAL A&E AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Why are you even asking for advise here??
