I have 1 empty room in my 3 room HDB.  I plan to convert it into an exercise room by installing pull up and sit up bar and do yoga there.  Now everywhere is not safe, including gym.  Want to cruise, there are better place to cruise from the internet.   I hope I didn't miss anything.

Why not turn the empty room into a dark room with glory holes and only 4 are invited (5 with you included)

Why does the person on FB needs to be told that? I didn't hear anything mentioned by the person talking in the video about race.  If I'm not mistaken the one who mentioned 'indian' was a poster here in BW.

You can tell the videoer is of  Chinese descent, even when the video didn't show him? That's like claiming someone is white English cos he speaks speak English.

Lastly, passengers exiting a plane from Bangladesh, need NOT always be a Bangladeshi.  I can't tell what their nationalities are from their visual image.

That is easy said.

What was the intention of taking the video and publishing it?

The video at facebook was published by this Zheng Ting Jiu. At Facebook you can see he did not share a video made by others but the video was uploaded by him to facebook.

It is clear that this Zheng Ting Jui intended to pinpoint on Indians entering to Singapore.

However, if you take a close look, you will note the people are Bangladeshi, you can verify from taking a closer look. Another hint is there are few female passengers, a flight from India would carry more female passengers.

Lastly, the video does not serve anything. But the Singaporean who posted it, wanted to allude to a certain message. That's clear.

Surely, not all passengers from a plane from Bangladesh need to be Bangladeshi, probably it is rare for Indians to take flights from Bangladesh to Singapore, but look here:

Bangladesh closes borders with India for 14 days amid spike in Covid-19 cases

Passenger travel from India to Bangladesh will remain closed from Monday for 14 days

I don't really understand why we had to queue up to collect these Tracetogether tokens and track here and there when the contact tracing of covid cases still takes so long or seems ineffective.

For the TTSH cluster from 40 infected only 7 close persons have been detected as you can read at Straits Times.

Shouldn't the number of the close contacts be much higher?

For what do we carry the Tracetogether with us then when it seems quite useless in doing a proper contact tracing.  Doesn't seem to improve the contact tracing...

Just some questions...

Look at it from another angle,  7 out of 40 is still better than 0 out of 40 right? Somemore after spending so much money and resources into developing it, of course must make good use of it.

I still remember last year CB there were so many guys on cam4 everyday stroking their cock and shooting their load to the cam. :P weekends even more crowded.

The facebook video at the post from Guest Hung seems clearly in Singapore. The airports in New Zealand don't look like this. Looks very Changi airport to me.

It is changi airport but photo taken before the ban. SG ban India flight from 23 Apr and Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka flight only from 2 May. It will be more interesting to see when they will be open again.

Friend, you know who developed that stupid TraceTogether app? He got what surname, you know? I tell you, even no matter how big a failure that TraceTogether becomes, even if it blows up in your face and burn your cock away in your pockets, we also must say it is very successful one, OK??

You don't play play. You go pray pray.

Is alwys the same old excuses,  what's new? Is SG the only tiny nation in this world? We are paying millions for minister to solve the problem and not just keep getting in cheap labour,  otherwise everyone can be a minister.

Why do we need to keep having so many BTO when everyone already have a flat to stay?  Why do we need to build so many condo just for foreigners to come and buy and rent it out?

By the way,  migrant workers have gone beyond the construction and clearing rubbish. You can find them in aircon servicing, moving house,  deliver goods etc. Really no sporean want the job or simply because they are much cheaper to hire and work without complaints?

For an island nation of less than 5.9 million people , curtailing the spread of Covid would have been easy peasai.

No wonder when ND is near, they will always brainwash us with "Count on me, Singapore" while in actual fact they can't do without the Indians to achieve the goals...haiz.

Still very crowded today.  Where is phase 2 as promised?

Phase 2 is not going to help much as people will still throng shopping centre, Ikea etc...only a CB will stop them from coming out but that will be too devastating for our economy.

The one that suffered are those gym owner, restaraunt owner and not to forget all those involved in night entertainment.

The one that benefits are those who can come in with a job in this critical time and even detected covid, they can be assured of a quality treatment in our hospital.

Too many young families with restless children hopping around the suburban malls. Maybe downtown won’t be so bad since most young families need HDB space in suburbs.

Did you try to say there would be fitter Foreign Talent to replace the ministers? or what was your conclusion?

But you wrote somewhere a time ago you never voted opposition parties..

Why complain then?

Guest no checks

The gov should get stricter with those being complacent. 70% running around with mask not wearing properly outside (malls, queue, MRT, bus...)

I saw groups of 20 pax around Arab Street on Sat night and nobody bothered. People sitting ar bars with empty drinks , not wearing mask but playing cards.

Then returning to Phase 2 doesn't make sense...

Thank you for following me all this while. As usual when they realised there is no local talent, they will search elsewhere and there is a few country they like in particular. So your suggestion to get a foreign talent to become our PM may not be a bad thing.

I vote for quality opposition and not any tom,  dick and harry can get my vote but then never PAP.

Would you like to share who you voted last Jul? If u r a PAP dog,  there is nothing to continue. Once again thank you for following me and i shall try my best not to dissappoint u.

Is this wave more dangerous than the period during CB?

Definitely,  the new variant from India spread more quickly and the current vaccine may not be good enough for it. That can explain why so many local cases kena even after recieving both doses months ago. Anyway vaccine is only 95% protection,  mask and social distancing is probably more important.

Honestly, I m not that Guest Guest, you think I am.

And surely, I m not following you.

Just stumbled over your consistencies...

Take it easy...

I dislike people making foreigners to scapegoats. Be it manual workers or even PMETs.

I m in the HR search line and trust me for plenty of jobs it's difficult to find local talent. What to do then as searching from someone from overseas to fill a job?

The gov should focus much stronger to upscale workers on the lower paid jobs and throw more financial support. That's my take from experience...

The help for self help slogan is outdated and doesn't get these vulnerable people in employment, once they are out of job...

What are the activities "proven to be safe" till date in Sg and overseas?

I had ever came across getting infected via....

  1. Swimming
  2. Library
  3. Jogging at parks
  4.  ... please add on

Can be asymptomatic, no test no case, and US CDC has acknowledged covid is airborne.

No lah, our world famous airport is so "dirty" now with so many covid cases. T3 basement 2 will be closed for disinfection and further investigation.

If covid is proven to be airborne,  then basically the moment u step out of your house, there will be a risk. Only activities safe will be staying in your aircon room and watch movie.

This post is inaccurate.

Singapore did not ban any flights from 2 May 2021 but it restricted travellers from these countries!

This is a difference.

There are still planes coming.

Changi airport indicated the flight arrivals from Bangladesh on 4/5 May (even India and other parts).

Please read news completely and carefully and quote anything accurately!

CNA 30 Apr 2021

SINGAPORE: Singapore will stop entry or transit for visitors with recent travel history to Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the COVID-19 multi-ministry task force said on Friday (Apr 30).

The ban starts on May 2 and covers all long-term pass holders and short-term visitors who have been in the four countries in the last 14 days, including transit.

=> no full flight ban, only EP, SPass, Work Pass and Social Visit Pass holders restricted. Entry from these regions permitted for Singaporeans and PRs!

Why does G keep asking the people to get vaccinated even though it will not prevent you from getting infected?

8 out of 10 infected persons of the Changi Airport cluster are vaccinated. Isn't it pretty obvious?

Is it because doing something is better than doing nothing to feel good or show that you are not doing nothing?

moderna and pfizer are 100% effective against severe disease. that's a truly remarkable achievement, from the medical point of view.  it may not prevent an infection per se, but it does prevent death from the infection. to put it in another way, a vaccinated person will get nothing more than sniffles when he gets infected. a non vaccinated person, however, may end up on a respirator or even dead. if u do the maths (benefits vs risks), it's a no brainer to get vaccinated, regardless of whether it can prevent an infection.

do note:

1 he has underlying medical problems.

2 given his working conditions in india, it is almost certain that he could not and did not observe basic infectious control measures, let alone don a proper ppe. given the nature of his work, it is also almost certain that he was exposed a tremendously high viral load all the time, much higher than you, eg. a huge viral load translate to higher likelihood of severe disease.

the unfortunate dr's circumstances are very different from those of the men on the street. men like you, eg. so, please don't let reports like this deter you from getting vaccinated.

our government is right in pushing ahead with the vaccination. the morbidity and perhaps the mortality too, would have been greater if those infected were not vaccinated at all.

LOL!  "Pfizered" is now a new word in the English language?

Indeed remarkable, from medical and society's point of view.  The modified RNA technique is revolutionary, not only to quickly develop new vaccines for mutating viruses, but in other areas that involve the immune system, like possibly cancer immunotherapy.

I think you need some reminders:

In a country where Home Affairs ministers don't even resign when most wanted terrorists, being handicapped, manage to escape from prisons under extremely laughable circumstances or Ministers having suffered 3 major cyber leaks to health registries getting promoted to act as Minister of other posts nothing should be new or a surprise...

The letters actually stand for proceeded as planned...
