More reasons for you to go for a high efficacy vaccine, becasue there's always this possibility of you getting infected by two different strains at the same time. At least Pfitzer / Moderna is confirmed able to fend off each variant better than that lousy Sinovac.

Even Malaysia say no to Sinovac.

Malaysia to stop using Sinovac vaccine after supply ends: minister

The announcement to stop using Sinovac's inactivated virus vaccine comes amid increasing concern over its efficacy against new and more contagious variants of the coronavirus.

Neighbouring Thailand this week said it would use the AstraZeneca vaccine as a second dose for those who received the Sinovac shot, while Indonesia is considering a booster shot for those who received the two-dose Sinovac course.

BioNTech produces 10 times more antibodies than China's Sinovac: study

People who received BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine had ten times the amount of antibodies than those given China's Sinovac, a Hong Kong study has shown, adding to growing data on different jabs' effectiveness.

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) research, based on a study of 1,442 healthcare workers, was published in Lancet Microbe on Thursday.

Just go get vaccinated, Pfizer or Moderna. In Singapore, we are fortunate to have these two of the best.

As for Sinovac, google all the countries that relied heavily on it, look at their situation so far n reach your own conclusions. Quarrels on social media is not useful.

Last week, Thailand announced it was changing its vaccine policy - instead of receiving two Sinovac shots, residents will now get a mix of Sinovac and AstraZeneca.

Healthcare workers who are already fully vaccinated with Sinovac will also get a different jab as a booster shot.

Indonesia announced a similar move the previous week, saying it was giving Moderna booster shots to healthcare workers immunised with Sinovac.

The decisions followed reports that hundreds of fully vaccinated healthcare workers had caught Covid, with some of them - two in Thailand and 30 in Indonesia - dying.

hm, but they won't be able to claim back money from these companies...

I prefer to call this the "bubble tea strategy".

The only question I still have is:

How did they get covid-19 under control in China if they used the Sinovac vaccine?

China does not include asymptomatic people in their infected count since 2020. Go figure

If you believe that China has gotten control of their situation, I have a great investment plan to sell you.

Confirm huat one.

Sure can use the Singapore Exchange to stock list the investment because watching these companies listed here for some time, most of them seem to be rip offs or fakes.

Can we call the fund "Rotten to the root Golden Chance Fund"?

And what the heck is "bubble tea strategy"?  Someone here just seems to be living in some alternate reality, where what he says and what he thinks can only make sense to he himself.

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/07/28/health/pfizer-third-dose-data-bn/index.html

Pfizer data suggest third dose of Covid-19 vaccine 'strongly' boosts protection against Delta variant

The data posted online, which are expected to be discussed in a company earnings call on Wednesday morning, suggest that antibody levels against the Delta variant in people ages 18 to 55 who receive a third dose of vaccine are greater than five-fold than following a second dose.

Among people ages 65 to 85, the Pfizer data suggest that antibody levels against the Delta variant after receiving a third dose of vaccine are greater than 11-fold than following a second dose.

There's "estimated potential for up to 100-fold increase in Delta neutralization post-dose three compared to pre-dose three," researchers wrote in the Pfizer data slides.
