I recently recommended Oppo A74 to my partner's mum who needed a basic phone for WhatsApp messages and basic calling, nothing expensive and can last for 3-5 years. She's also a very light user, may take a picture or two. Specs wise, it's a basic 6.4" full HD resolution screen, with 128GB of storage and 5000mAh battery.
