Guest Guest
Whenever there is pus discharge from your penis, there is infection, no doubt about it. Whether it is STI or UTI, or is there pain or no pain, it doesn’t matter anymore. Bear in mind some signs and symptoms do disappear but that does not mean it is cured. Don’t console yourself that you are okay now or you will be okay. Go seek medical assistance.
Guest Guest worried
Hi, I am currently working in Singapore on EP, and have met a few people on BW and other forums for random hookups last year. Unfortunately in the heat of moment, quite a few of these encounters were unprotected. I am up for yearly health check and want to do a self check or a clinical test which is anonymous for HIV before going for that. For EP most clinic if they detect HIV, have to report it to MOM. My concern is to be aware of my status so I can have ease of mind. Last test in Mar 2019 was negative
Guest tester
Hi, I understand your situation. I would recommend to you to go to KL or Bangkok for the test. I think there was a thread somewhere before on this issue. Better don't go here in Singapore. And don't go to any normal clinic. There are reporting duties. To safeguard yourself, you better do the test overseas. I am aware, it is currently a bit difficult to travel overseas. I m not sure when you need to test. However, a trip to KL would not cost too much. Search for the websites and check the details as there are certain timings for the tests. The one in Kuala Lumpur you need to book an appointment, while the one in Bangkok has a queue system. KL: PT Foundation Community Health Care Centre (CHCC) No.2 level, 1, Jalan Haji Salleh, Sentul, 51100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur The one in Bangkok is at Red Cross The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre Address: 104 Ratchadamri Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330 (5 minutes’ walk from the Rajdamri BTS station and Silom MRT station) In Malaysia you can now buy self tests at certain pharmacies, but I m not sure how conclusive these tests are. At least if you know the result, then you know how to prepare for your future.

Lickme_Bod
Please get PREP before doing any forms of anal sex as it is really very risky..Even with condom, u never know what the tops might have done with it. Don't let a moment of high affect yr entire life. There was once a really v good looking top wanted to do it with me, and I said yes. before he entered me, my rationale mind snapped me back and i said Sorry, I am not into it. Just don't be afraid to say no. It is ur health!!! think of urself!

What he did with the condom before he entered you? Many things in life are very risky. In Singapore it might be even risky to walk in a park or around greenery after 5pm to 8pm, because this is the time most mosquitoes start to fly around looking for prey. And you can die of Dengue fever. Any form of walking outside is really very risky, even in a latex suit. But thanks for pointing out that good looking does not mean clean or free of any disease or STD. But all in all you post seems to say: Stay abstinent, don't have sex at all. Most advice sites still say protected anal sex with condom is safe for not getting any STD or HIV. If you want to add on PREP, ok, but from my experience, mostly guys who indulge into unprotected anal sex take PREP as a measure for avoiding to getting infected (but it wouldn't help against any other STD ...) Guest Asymptomatic
Wanted to point out that unprotected oral sex including rimming can lead to chlamydia and gonorrhea. Protected anal sex can only limit your exposure. In fact, just mere physical contact with affected areas can give you herpes and HPV, causing genital warts. All these, unfortunately, can be dormant for years with no symptoms. Important to do an STD check every 3 months, if u are sexually active. GP don't usually prescribe antibiotics anymore but it's needed for Chlamydia you don’t need to tell them how you think you got it. But you are probably better off going to a sexual health clinic so you feel you can talk more freely and also get tested for other potential STIs at the same time, as part of starting a routine for regular sexual health screening. savagegarden
short answer is you can't unless you get tested and diagnosed by exclusion (not STD). Then you know its just a regular throat infection. So unless you are super sick and need to go A&E, just go DSC to get tested.
Guest how
Can't be going DSC for every sore throat for those who are very active. Just thinking out loud. Assuming I suspect my sore throat is due to Chlamydia, can I self-infect by smearing my dick head with my saliva? if I start to have burning sensation when passing urine, then this sore throat is confirmed due to Chlamydia. Make sense?

They will give you an injection in the butt on the spot and a course antibiotics if I recall correctly. Nothing to worry about. Abstain from sex before you are cleared. Remember to inform your partners. Likely to be those you had fun with 1-2 weeks ago before your symptoms surface. Do share the latest procedure. Mind sharing how did you get infected? Bro, I’m quoting you because I think you give the most objective answer. Do you know if one can get/pass chlamydia from sharing food e.g. with family members, or it’s purely through sexual related contact i.e. kissing, oral and anal sex? Thanks a lot!
