Where To Take Std / Hiv Test? Specialised Stis Clinic & Anonymous Hiv Test Centre (Compiled)

Whenever there is pus discharge from your  penis, there is infection, no doubt about it. Whether it is STI or UTI, or is there pain or no pain, it doesn’t matter anymore.

Bear in mind some signs and symptoms do disappear but that does not mean it is cured. Don’t console yourself that you are okay now or you will be okay.

Go seek medical assistance.

Hi,

I am currently working in Singapore on EP, and have met a few people on BW and other forums for random hookups last year. Unfortunately in the heat of moment, quite a few of these encounters were unprotected. I am up for yearly health check and want to do a self check or a clinical test which is anonymous for HIV before going for that. For EP most clinic if they detect HIV, have to report it to MOM. My concern is to be aware of my status so I can have ease of mind. Last test in Mar 2019 was negative

Hi, I understand your situation.

I would recommend to you to go to KL or Bangkok for the test. I think there was a thread somewhere before on this issue.

Better don't go here in Singapore. And don't go to any normal clinic. There are reporting duties.

To safeguard yourself, you better do the test overseas.

I am aware, it is currently a bit difficult to travel overseas. I m not sure when you need to test.

However, a trip to KL would not cost too much.

Search for the websites and check the details as there are certain timings for the tests.

The one in Kuala Lumpur you need to book an appointment, while the one in Bangkok has a queue system.

KL:

PT Foundation

Community Health Care Centre (CHCC)
No.2 level, 1,
Jalan Haji Salleh, Sentul,
51100 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur

The one in Bangkok is at Red Cross

The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre
Address: 104 Ratchadamri Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330
(5 minutes’ walk from the Rajdamri BTS station and Silom MRT station)

In Malaysia you can now buy self tests at certain pharmacies, but I m not sure how conclusive these tests are.

At least if you know the result, then you know how to prepare for your future.

Please get PREP before doing any forms of anal sex as it is really very risky..Even with condom,  u never know what the tops might have done with it. Don't let a moment of high affect yr entire life. There was once a really v good looking top wanted to do it with me, and I said yes. before he entered me, my rationale mind snapped me back and i said Sorry, I am not into it. Just don't be afraid to say no. It is ur health!!! think of urself!

Had my first anal & its protected, however how do i know for sure that im not infected? Is there any clinic that do test for std without records patients info? Like anonymous std checkup?

In Malaysia or Singapore? that would make a difference.

Actually I don't understand why some youngsters are unable to google something like "Anonymous HIV testing" or "Anonymous STD testing"

added with their country of living....

What did you mean what he did with what?

Even with condom?

What he did with his dick?

What he did with the condom before he entered you?

Many things in life are very risky.

In Singapore it might be even risky to walk in a park or around greenery after 5pm to 8pm, because this is the time most mosquitoes start to fly around looking for prey.

And you can die of Dengue fever. Any form of walking outside is really very risky, even in a latex suit.

But thanks for pointing out that good looking does not mean clean or free of any disease or STD.

But all in all you post seems to say: Stay abstinent, don't have sex at all.

Most advice sites still say protected anal sex with condom is safe for not getting any STD or HIV.

If you want to add on PREP,  ok, but from my experience, mostly guys who indulge into unprotected anal sex take PREP as a measure for avoiding to getting infected (but it wouldn't help against any other STD ...)

Wanted to point out that unprotected oral sex including rimming can lead to chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Protected anal sex can only limit your exposure.

In fact, just mere physical contact with affected areas can give you herpes and HPV, causing genital warts.

All these, unfortunately, can be dormant for years with no symptoms.

Important to do an STD check every 3 months, if u are sexually active.

How do you know your sore throat is due to the usual Respiratory Infection or Chlamydia?

No, I don't have burning sensation when passing urine. Chlamydia can only infect the throat area btw

That's exactly my dilemma now. Don't know whether to go DSC or polyclinic?

I don't want to tell the polyclinic doc I suck dicks but if I never said, he would have thought it's normal flu and diagnose me wrongly. GP don't usually prescribe antibiotics anymore but it's needed for Chlamydia

you don’t need to tell them how you think you got it. But you are probably better off going to a sexual health clinic so you feel you can talk more freely and also get tested for other potential STIs at the same time, as part of starting a routine for regular  sexual health screening.

Could easily be COVID too.

You need to get a throat swab done (usually will be for both gonorrhoea and chlamydia)

You can get chlamydia in the throat not only from cock sucking, but also from rimming someone, or eating pussy!

there are more symptoms that associated with Chlamydia.. so check if you have those

Chlamydia can very easily be asymptomatic too, especially for throat or anal areas.

You really cannot rely on symptoms for the diagnosis.

Can't be going DSC for every sore throat for those who are very active.

Just thinking out loud. Assuming I suspect my sore throat is due to Chlamydia, can I self-infect by smearing my dick head with my saliva?

if I start to have burning sensation when passing urine, then this sore throat is confirmed due to Chlamydia.

Make sense?

Sometimes I get worried for people who go round sucking numerous cocks @saunas. And they are so happy about it.

Also for those who like to get fisted,, they might damage their insides.

Confirmed Gonorrhoea. Make an appt with DSC. They will give you an injection in the butt on the spot and a course antibiotics if I recall correctly.

Nothing to worry about. Abstain from sex before you are cleared. Remember to inform your partners. Likely to be those you had fun with 1-2 weeks ago before your symptoms surface.

Do share the latest procedure. Mind sharing how did you get infected?

Already too many ifs and when.

If you know how to self diagnose, why do you ask us?

If you're responsible you had already visited a STD clinic.

Nobody here can diagnose you or give good advice.

The only thing making sense is to get tested!

Bro,

I’m quoting you because I think you give the most objective answer. Do you know if one can get/pass chlamydia from sharing food e.g. with family members, or it’s purely through sexual related contact i.e. kissing, oral and anal sex?

Thanks a lot!

"self-infect" is certainly possible.

of course it is not guaranteed to work.

I don't think there is any evidence of transmission via food sharing etc.

I checked with Doc, this tactic doesn't work.

When the bacteria is exposed to the environment outside the body, it might just die.

Yes, it will only spread from mouth to mouth kissing and sexual activities.

Why does DSC needs 2 weeks to run the PCR fests?

Even for Covid, the PRC result can be out within 2 days these days.

The shorter the waiting time, the better for the clinic and patient and general public sexual health. Don't you think so?

Can come to my clinic for chlamydia testing. Results will be ready 2-3 days. If highly suspicious for it, i can also prescribe the antibiotics. We also offer PulsExpress services where you can come and get tested without doctor’s consult. If positive can just come back to pick up antibiotics. This way you can come anytime from 9am-9pm weekdays or 9am-3pm on weekends. Save costs on consult. Swab and go.

Thanks Doc! Great! May I ask how much is the fee with and without doc consultation?

Does the 3 days of testing time apply to all STDs?
