doncoin
Nope. Still pretty independent. I have a neighbor who is in her mid-70s. Still works part-time, and whenever she goes on vacation, I water her plants. Gozu and yuquidam 2 Quote Love.

robin
I suppose the term ‘take care’ means addressing their reasonable needs within one’s ability (financial, physical, emotional & mental).
Guest Caregiver
I am a main caregiver to my parents in their 70s. Both my mother and father has neurological condition. I am grateful they are still mobile and ADL independent. Just got to be alert and ready to face their melt downs at certain times.
Guest Guest Useless
I m in my 50s and has been living overseas for more than 15 yrs . My mum had a stroke 3yrs back when she was 73. We had to place her in nursing home as both my other 2 elder siblings cannot/ refused take care of her. It's a hard decision but at least there are professionals there to look after her rather than a maid who is not medical trained. And yes I got judged my others who didn't know the situation and reasons for the decision.
