drektster Posted July 20, 2022 Report Share Posted July 20, 2022 actually GMO food are suitable for human consumption. the only difference is that it was genetically modified against disease and pest. seeds from GMO plants could not produce the second generation of plants with the same properties. In some countries, they need to protect their own agriculture and spread rumors on GMO products. China is one of the first to grow GMO crop commercially. If it is not for GMO crop which feeds our livestock. the food crisis would have send the price of food skyrocketed to a point that most would not afford food.
