actually GMO food are suitable for human consumption. the only difference is that it was genetically modified against disease and pest. seeds from GMO plants could not produce the second generation of plants with the same properties. In some countries, they need to protect their own agriculture and spread rumors on GMO products.

China is one of the first to grow GMO crop commercially. If it is not for GMO crop which feeds our livestock. the food crisis would have send the price of food skyrocketed to a point that most would not afford food.

GMO foods are gene modified, all base on theory and no one can guarantee 100% safe nor no one have evidence to proof it bad either. the biggest issue is the uncertainty.

already have evidence that GMO gene is polluting/spreading amoung plant (eg soya).
