eSIM cards available for tourists in SG?

Could you please share your carrier information and the plan subscribed. I use a Singtel prepaid when I go to Singapore but it involves changing SIM card when traveling. I was charged with high roaming fee once forgetting to disable the US SIM while in SG. Recently my Singtel SIM stopped working in US apparently due to ATT 3G network sunset.

I'll be back for a visit next month and was wondering whether eSIM cards were now available as prepaid cards for tourists? It's just so much easier... so I can have both my home  eSIM and the SG eSIM together and won't be missing calls or text messages.

Hi there!

I’ve been using travel eSIMs and I usually buy them on Shopee, Singapore’s version of Amazon.

I found a travel eSIM that works in Singapore over here https://shope.ee/7KMf08YJX6 but I’m not sure if you can signup for a Shopee account overseas. Prices starts from S$16.90

If you want to try signing up and get $10 off, use my referral 🙂REF-RHY232 https://shp.ee/jsbxjk5?smtt=0.0.9

You may access these websites to look for the options suited to your needs when in SG.

If you are using some of the latest phones, they mostly comes with dual standby in combinations of SIM &/or eSIM. Lastest iPhones supports dual SIM standby. To prevent data autoroam on your US SIM, turned off the Data Roam on your phone before your leave the US. Once you land in SG, the SG eSIM will kick in your data on your phone.
