What food to eat to heal body fast?

There are many foods that are said to be anti-inflammatory. Do include them in your diet whenever possible.

Another guideline I find useful is to strive for a variety of plant foods -
at least 30 different kinds per week. The quantities of each plant type can be small. Go for different colors as they contain
different polyphenols.

Best to do bloodwork to scan for deficiencies. That way you don't have to tikam which supplements you may need.

Very true...BUTTo find out what your body lacks or has enough of, a single blood test is not a reliable indicator.    It is advisable to preserve all of your previous bloodwork reports for a period of five years or more.  You can afford to indulge in desserts if your glucose marker is continuously low.

However, If your iron, protein, etc., fluctuates a lot, then focus on that year's low or high levels and exam your lifestyle during that time for clue.  Perhaps that year you were under a lot of stress or exposed to toxic chemicals?

Your metabolism may be quite stable, or it may be inherited, if your readings are largely consistent over the course of your five to twenty years of screening regardless of the results.
Think of your lab result as a sailing boat, to use a metaphor.  You can still sail through the storm unharmed, just as you did five, ten, or twenty years ago, when it looks shattered.  Bottom line, steer clear of any significant fluctuations in your readings. Don't go keto, consume excessive tonics, fast for an extended period of time, or become a full-time vegetarian if your doctor says you don't need to modify your lifestyle because these changes could upset everything that was ostensibly well-maintained already.   .

The above is my humble opinion.  Any doctor here can convince me that I may be wrong?

I like to eat farm house (made in Malaysia) plain yoghurt. Sometimes I mixed blueberries, banana, strawberry mulberry, longan to make it tasty.

I like to eat Salmon fish, Sardines fish, Tau Pok, Cabbage, Greenies, Rice, Noodles, eggs too.

Fruit wise I will eat orange every 2 days evening. Same for 2 hardboiled eggs every 2 days evening as dinner.

I drink min 1 cup kopi and min 1 cup Teh-C daily.

Mon-Fri afternoon eat in kopitiam/hawker due to work.

On and off I took centrium multivitamins, maybe 2-3 times a week.

If go over JB on Sat, I will surely eat 2 piece KFC meal as lunch.

I intended to add Chia Seeds into my drinks or yoghurt soon.

Sometimes I buy freshly made wholemeal bread (expiry last 3 days) from neighbourhood bakery to mix with tuna fish floss as dinner.

Healthy or not ?

In your humble opinion,  do you have records over five to twenty five years of your lab results?  And they include all the markers that affect nutrition?   If so, you are a one-in-a-million.  You are amazing!  No wonder you are pure self interrogation!!!   The plain majority of us get lab results ( bloodwork ) once a year, and it is PATHETICALLY INSUFFICIENT!  No measures of vitamin D, iron, fasting glucose, A1c, etc. etc. etc.    Instead...  we get primitive "lipid tests" that miss important markers and gives the doctors an excuse, with a high LDL,  to prescribe mostly harmful statins.

The health of a population could be significantly increased if comprehensive lab works are performed periodically, and competent physicians would be trained to interpret them and instruct their patients about PREVENTIVE measures to take.  Then medical costs would be significantly reduced, compared to the very expensive costs of drugs and not-always-curative procedures, which contribute to the financial gains of medical professionals and medical institutions, including drug companies.

Sounds like you making a conscious effort to eat healthy whenever possible/practical, kudos!

Focus on a balanced diet. Include a rich variety of plant types, sufficient protein and healthy fats in your diet, and avoid ultra-processed and high refined sugar foods.  Be physically active many times a week and make sure you sleep well. Make time for social connections. Good health is that simple...

Preventive care is now the buzzword. Let's try our best to keep up to date with the latest knowledge in these areas.

Why does it seem like a buzzword to you to keep track of your lab results?   My former employers paid for my health screening, or at least a portion of it.  No, I probably do it three times a year over a 20-year span rather than annually.  You can spread out your screening to save money if you are paying for it yourself.  Your medical history is at least preserved.  It is more important than keeping your degree certificates which can be quite useless when you aged.

Your renal profile (which includes potassium, sodium, and calcium), chest x-ray, liver protein profile, glucose level, inflammation markers (include prostate), Hep A B C, and sex diseases are all covered by the basic test.  White and red blood cells. HPB, cholesterol, urine, stool, uric acid, and hemoglobin too.   These are the basics test that could guide the way you wanted to eat and live.    Blood lipid test is not sufficient, it shows only a trailer but not the entire movie in your body.    Did I miss anything to you?

This is an excellent goal.  A convenient goal in later years when one has more time, especially if retired, and one can dedicate sufficient attention to it.

Unfortunately, there is not a single book one can read about preventive medicine.  The information is spread very wide, increasing in volume. All the time newcomers to the field profit from publishing their own versions of "what is good" for this and that.   One extensive source of information is YouTube, although the amount of videos about it has risen exponentially,  with catchy names like " 3 foods to eat to become a centenarian" or "10 worse supplements to avoid", etc.  There is so much chatter and repetition in these videos...  But after a while, one develops some sense to recognize those that are valuable, and  simply scan through or reject others.

In my experience, a "Premium" subscription to YouTube is very practical, to avoid commercials and to receive selective videos based on one's interests, and it is practical to download some to one's computer. This is useful for not only nutrition information, but for many other subjects.  A good utility to do this is "4K downloader",  I got a forever license to use it for 25 dollars.

in malay belief , if you just have bleeding and surgery that easily bleed, they would buy ikan haruan or snakehead murrel especially for C section birth or circumcision surgery. in vietnam it is also believed ,this fish is good for sexual energy for people above 50s. those here who are cut may have eaten this fish to recover fast. there are some evidence scientifically it is high in amino acids like glysine dan lysine , and it is high in anti oxidants that fight inflammation

It is not just Malay belief,  Chinese old folks also practised brewing snakehead murrel + certain herbs to facilitate fast healings for any form of surgery.

I bought the chicken essence yesterday, though I was also pondering on the fish essence version.  It cost $16.90 for a box of  8 bottles.

I am wondering if the snakehead fish essence helps with strength/energy recovery. 2 weeks ago I had a flu (I think) + cough which went away after a few days.
For the past 2 weeks, I have been able to function normally except I can't seem to find the energy and strength to return to my exercise routine. I have tried several times but even 2/3 of what I used to lift seemed heavy. I suppose this could be post viral fatigue, but 2+ weeks is kinda long.

I have started to drink a tbsp of extra virgin olive oil once a day on an empty stomach in the morning. Bought this brand "Borges" from NTUC for $13+, it's also organic. But it later occurred to me that the glass of the bottle is not dark, and the olive oil could degrade much faster as a result.

Taste-wise, this brand seems quite light and easy to drink. And there is a light burning senasation at the back of the throat which signifies the presence of the polyphenol oleocanthal, the main active compound that provides many health benefits.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

It is also recommended to drink this tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil just before bed.  This is what I do now every night.  My brand is the Spanish "Goya".

And yes, it is advised to protect the oil from light, and even if the bottle is dark we should keep it in a cabinet with doors.  And for longer storage, the fridge is the best place, where the oil solidifies in the cold without any problems.

I will try to reduce my dinner intake to make space for a second tbsp before bed for the possibly different benefits.
