Joint single scheme for a HDB

Any single here got your HDB flat under joint single scheme?

 

I tot this maybe a good option for those turning 35 planning to get your first flat without much CPF and cash or those above 40 with plan to sell your current house during this boom period. 

 

For example, each party fork out 250k (Cash + CPF), with a budget of 500k or more,  still can get a decent 4 room flat. Don't need to take a bank loan paying high interest and whatever spare cash/ CPF can be used for other investment purpose. Each having your own room and additional spare room can be rented out for some passive income.
