Sharing my experience.  Building a long-lasting relationship involves several factors, such as mutual trust, respect, communication, and commitment. Here are some tips that can help you build a strong and healthy relationship:

Communication: Effective communication is key to any relationship. Being able to express your feelings, thoughts, and concerns openly and honestly is important for building trust and understanding. Make time to talk to your partner and listen to them as well.

Trust: Trust is the foundation of any healthy relationship. It involves being honest, reliable, and consistent in your words and actions. Trust takes time to build, so it's essential to be patient and give your partner space to earn your trust.

Respect: Respect is about acknowledging and valuing your partner's thoughts, feelings, and boundaries. It involves treating your partner with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Respecting your partner's individuality and differences is also important.

Shared interests: Having shared interests and hobbies can help you bond with your partner and create lasting memories together. It's essential to make time for each other and engage in activities that you both enjoy.

Commitment: A long-lasting relationship requires a commitment to each other. This involves being dedicated and loyal to your partner, even during challenging times. Being there for your partner through thick and thin shows that you are committed to building a strong and healthy relationship.
