Why do you look attractive in the mirrors but not in the photos?

that is because our eyes has angle of view of 120 - 130 degree but it focus on the centre which is 40 - 60 degree. therefore if you wants to take a good portrait. then the lens needs to be 35-50mm Full frame (equivalent). lens design on a mobile is different of that to a Full frame camera. so, i am not sure how to get the correct focal length on a mobile phone to match a full frame camera.

It's simple physics.

When you see your mirror image, it is laterally inverted.

That means if your mirrow image looks good, you usually won't in photos, and vice versa.

Unless you have extremely attractive and symmetrical hair and facial features.

So if you spend hours looking nice in front of the mirror, you will be shocked by how different your face turns out in photos.

In the case of celebrities, they have stylists to prepare them for photoshoots, so they always look great in photos.

Unlike most people, celebs don't need to DIY and depend on their mirror reflection to style themselves.

How about in the eye of the other person? Would it be a mirror image or photo image?
