CNN —

Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has signed some of the harshest anti-LGBTQ laws in the world, the speaker of parliament said, defying international pressure.

The bill includes the death penalty for “aggravated homosexuality’ which includes sex with a minor, having sex while HIV positive and incest.

The bill criminalizes sex education for the gay community and makes it illegal not to expose what it calls perpetrators of aggravated homosexuality to the police. It calls for “rehabilitation”– widely discredited conversion therapy – for gay offenders.

The homophobic evil in Uganda is not only of Uganda's making.   It is also the result of the lobbying by an American Christian group, "Family International".  This group also lobbies for outlawing abortion, birth control,  sex education.  The Christian hell probably has a section with intense fire reserved for these abominable false evangelists.

Luckily China banned such a group of people in the country.

Well done.  These groups of fanatics should be banned.  One similar group is the "Church of Scientology", which fortunately is banned, or not recognized as religious, in some progressive countries.   And besides banning these groups of zealots, one personally should NEVER fall for their brain washing.  (Actor Tom Cruise could not resist falling for their allure.)

A lot of other stars too:

Van Morrison, Chick Correa (Scientology) . But to my knowledge Scientology doesn't sponsor gay hate programs but only exploits people suffering from being gay.

All previous Supreme Court decisions rendered such laws in Uganda unconstitutional, hopefully this round again...
