they were cheated (if it's as alleged then it's CBT) by their own partner .... all these nightlife bar operators be it str8 or gay should refer to the insightful interview the ex-owner of wong san, mdm wong gave a few years back and realise the pitfalls of the biz and avoid it

But still interesting to note that the media here spends time to report about LGBT bars.

 

Surely, it is sad if the closure is due to theft by a co-owner...

 

Looking at it both are quite "niche" (no pun intended), then there had been various other bars.

 

If I am correct Taboo bar n disco closed down in 2024...

 

If all these bars concentrate around Neil Road and area, not sure they can survive.

Should spread to different areas. Otherwise you just have these hop one bar to next customers.

 

 

 

Or has the clubbing culture changed with later generations? Z, millenials?

I must have walked by Sausage Market numerous times but never thought of entering as I thought it was a modern day butcher shop based on the entrance.

i used to club all the time but the new ones are terrible. good riddance. anw I know of the alleged 'cheater' hahaha he just borrowed money and emptied out the corporate account

no because I wanted it to be good. If you have been you would know exactly what I mean. The music isn't great, the drinks aren't strong and it's like $50 to enter.

I understand. I also was turned off by bars that were not as good as the ones in my youth.  Imagine how I feel now... as an octogenarian! 😄

What kind of shortchange were you referring to when you paid for the main dish of staring at other male patrons? Music and drinks are simply excuses to make entrance.
