Some of you may have missed this Parliamentary debate which he had with Minister on Manpower Tan See Leng over the exclusion of sexual orientation and gender identity from the TAFEP (Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices) website. On Wednesday, 8 January 2025, during the second of the two-day Parliamentary debate on the Workplace Fairness Bill, PAP MP Louis Ng thanked Manpower Minister Tan See Leng for confirming that discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity was covered under the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TAFEP) but that this was currently not stated on the TAFEP website.
