Hi. I run around there. Let me know if you are keen to have someone to run with, when we can safely do so.

Running and other exercise had lesser impact to flatten you stomach. The main way is still diet but u still need to exercise at least a little bit. Unless u got a great deal of time to spend than do both dieting and exercising to speed things up. Running had the advantage that u need to clear all the distance if u already reach halfway as u need to run back to the starting point to take back your stuff in the locker to go home etc. Run in group so as someone can pace you and keep the motivation going. Sprint if u want some muscle mass and muscle mass helps to reduce fat too.

How would I know which is 70% diet and 30% work out?

By feel. There's this term 'RPE' - rate of perceived exertion..

Seeking Chinese fit jogging buddies for running and exercising at west cost park 6/7pm. Topless jogging is also fun. PM me.

I always organize run group in the weekend and during this covid time i mostly would organize at bedok reservoir as there is locker and shower facilities there. I always jog topless as well and i also encourage others to jog topless with me too

Besides Bedok Reservoir Park, you can also explore Tampines Eco Green, quite a nice place to jog with nature. You can also connect to the rustic Pasir Ris Park via the PCN if you need a longer jogging route.

how do you guys carry necessities when running sorta long distance eh? always dunno how to bring phone, water, possibly a towel without them being too much of a hassle.

how long is the distance? probably need water along the way. Stay light with

Smart Watch - for run music streaming and mobileshare, mobile pay if you have to take a bus back home

Bluetooth earbuds - for motivation and entertainment run music along the way

Bandana - to soak up the sweats and be used to clean up at the end of the run

Tracetogether token (the latest thin version) - good to have

You may try pandan reservoir. I always run there as it is walking distance from my house. You can view sunset too. Nice scenery and one full round is app 6km.

Bedok reservoir if I’m lazy to travel.

But I like running at the east end of ECP, Changi Coastal park connector towards Tanah Merah Coast Road.

👍 How does that route start and end?

You can start at Changi beach, jog along the coast, and end near the entrance to the jurassic mile or further down at ECP (or the other way around).

Depends on how far you wanna run, and where you’d prefer to chill out after your run.

Things try ar I bring w me on long run:

1. Sunglass and cap

2. MRT card

3. Some money ($ notes mostly)

4. A small bottle of water for hydration if there is no water point. Otherwise, I will just drink from the tap.

I do not bring my phone.

What I usually bring on long run:

1) Hairband (to keep my hair neat and absorb any sweat coming down my face)

2) Armband that has pocket to hold my phone

3) Shoes that let me sprint but also feel uncomfortable after a long run (so that I can sit somewhere to rest first and watch other runners)

If I’m on a running date, I will make my attire less as possible and make sure I fall down at least once so that the guy can pick me up.

You can run from decathlon kallang from behind it along the geylang PCN, via tanjong rhu promenade to garden by the bay east, and continue to east coast park car park b1 then to east coast park c2. Around 5 km. That is, assuming you're not returning to decathlon.

You can start from Decathlon and run by the Geylang river toward Tanjong Rhu and Marina East.

If your end point is Decathlon, turn back at Benjamin Sheares bridge, that would be 5km for the whole route.

Otherwise, continue on to Marina Barrage.

Source: I run this route regularly.

Garden by the bay east, Sportshub to geylang pcn to mountbatten.
