Okay. Frankly speaking, I have not watch the show but I saw the Netflix ad.

1st 4 episodes were kind of mid, mostly spent on contestants trash talking other teams.

 

Episodes 5 and 6 were great as they focussed on determination and endurance with must better pacing too.

 

Team Korea is like the pseudo protagonist team given that the show is based in Korea. But team Japan and Philippines are growing on me.

Yeah, if the show is not titled Physical: Asia, it would have made more sense for them to be there. Thankfully they have quite the sportmanship and seem genuinely happy when other contestants did well.

Team Japan has officially won me over. Instead of focussing only on tactical strategy like Team Korea, they really went head to head with Team Aus and pulled off a stunning upset. Katsumi is still dreamy as ever but Soichi really shone in the latest batch of episodes.
