It refers to infections that are mainly spread through sexual contact, including: Vaginal sex, Oral sex, Anal sex What are the symptoms of STD? - Abnormal discharge from penis or vagina - Pain or burning during urination - Genital sores, ulcers, blisters, or warts - Itching or rashes around the genital area - Pain during sexual intercourse - Lower abdominal pain, painful swollen testes - Swollen lymph nodes (especially groin) - Fever or flu-like symptoms How to test? - Blood test: for HSV 1&2, Hep B&C, HIV, syphilis etc - Urine test: for gonorrhoea, chlamydia, trachomatis, mycoplasma and HPV (which cause genital warts) Where to get tested? - STD clinic (there is one in Puchong Eden Family Clinic offers RM300 full STD panel and RM500 for full STD panel+HPV - the cheapest I can find) ** hehe strongly recommend as it is full of privacy, friendly male doctor and treatment is available Quote

(BP LAB offer RM200 but excluding Gonorrhea). In other clinics gonorrhea is excluded but can be added on with extra RM200 - 300. Some even didn't include and told me "it is not very common STD compared to chlamydia". LOL. 10 years ago, when I always got tested in some private clinic I frequent to, they included gonorrhea too at the price of less than RM300. In current days, they revised the panel and excluded them out. What a shame. Another STD clinic can be found is Klinik Bangsar South, you can get your results via email in the next day. But price point wise a bit higher. I'd been there only once like 10 years ago. Quote
