Guest Dead Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Serves them all right haha They mess around with drugs and behave like animals and then complain about how mainstream society views the gay community. As for anyone who was there and did not use drugs, serves them right for going along to an event where they knew drugs were going to be used. Please don't try to say that they may not have known. Please show me a gay orgy or gay "party" where people aren't using drugs. Meth is ripping through the gay community worldwide and it needs to be rooted-out. The more of these people who are busted and charged the better. Hopefully they start spilling the names of the suppliers as well. When you have a large section of the community behaving like animals and an even larger section of the community defending them, what do you expect mainstream society's perception to be? Yes, there is drug use and orgies in the straight scene as well, but we all know the reality of what is going-on on the gay party scene. A crackdown would be a good thing. Hopefully, a healthier scene emerges. Quote

Except that that is not true at all. Yes certain drugs, like Meth are very harmful to society because they are deadly addictive and they really disrupt the lives of the users such that the users are unable to function properly in society. But this home par was not a meth home par. Almost nobody there was doing ICE. They were all just doing recreational drugs like E, K, G which are frankly, quite harmless. There is a reason why most circuit gays are high earners and doing well professionally. Only rich gays can afford the circuit lifestyle. So if these drugs were really so disruptive, do you think these circuit gays will be able to enjoy high flying careers? The fact that most of them are doing well career wise is proof that recreational drugs don't destroy lives. Or maybe the hate stems from a legal standpoint? But the law cannot be used as a basis for morality. Remember that up until last year, gay sex was ILLEGAL in Singapore. Or is it cos drugs cause deaths? But the same can be said of alcohol, and I would argue more people die from alcohol poisoning than drugs. Because alcohol is a lot more unpredictable compared to drugs. So what is it then? Can anyone enlighten me with valid reasons as to why drugs deserve the hatred it gets from Singaporeans? I personally think its just cos Singaporeans have been brainwashed since young that drugs are evil. That is something I believed too, until I started living overseas and realised how normalised drugs are in other countries and it's really not a big deal, which is why drugs are legalised in more and more countries. Unfortunately not many can see from this POV. You living overseas and and seeing how “normalised” it was don’t give you the right to making it a normalcy in Singapore. Brian-washed aside, drugs brings harm to you, your family and those around you regardless if it’s recreational or not. Have you seen how many dead bodies were spread across the roads in Singapore when drugs was first introduced? How many young lives were tragically lost DUE TO drugs? How many families were broken? Also, drugs being legal in other countries is not because they are safe to consume, but rather because of the revenue they bring in. I leave it to you. You really think they're loved and respected? All that social media fame and popularity is fickle at best and fake at worst. Much of the drama and "elite status gatekeeping" not to mention body shaming of anybody who isn't as physically cut like they are is perpetrated by them. If want to talk about being toxic and intolerant cry me a river pls they do it to large segments of the gay community more than they receive it the other way around. Thanks for mentioning this. While some members of the community are trying their best to protect the good name of LGBTQ+ in Singapore since the repeal, the one that has tarnished the reputation are these kind of circuit party groupies hosting with drugs. Before people come for me, I repeat that it is okay to have circuit party events, private or open, by all means you can do that but not the drugs since it is already illegal in Singapore. Don't try to test the market. On the other hand, it is okay to give our opinions and thoughts in this forum, hence why this is called a forum for discussion. Unless you're bitter or if the shoe fits, why bother being angry haha. Everyone has the freedom of speech. Quote

Shyguy123 Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 If the alleged names here are true, it is just really sad as they still have a long (bright) future ahead of them. They are so young! Regardless, what they did was wrong and ought to be reprimanded accordingly. Hearsay that the drugs found were of small quantities and likely used for personal consumption (not for 49 people). If that's true, let's hope the punishment is not too severe and that the boys sincerely learnt their lesson from this incident. Imagine the toll and impact this must have to their families and their own reputation. But let's not speculate any further and leave the investigation to the authorities. This incident also highlighted the fact that we ought to be careful who we let into our lives. The snitch who baoto, I dunno what was his motive - jealousy? trying to do a social/ moral good? But it goes to show that we need to be careful with who we trust, even in the supposed close group of friends. InBishan 1 Quote

Although for reliable statistics on human effects to be formed, there needs to be large enough sample users so it leads to a chicken and egg issue. E is not minimal harm. Serotonin overload is very real, that's why if you look online in relevant discussions they always say you're not supposed to do it week in week out by right supposed to be only done with like anywhere between 1 to 3 months' break time between sessions. Unless you are very on the ball with aftercare and taking supplements to replenish yourself, it is almost guaranteed that you will suffer comedown effects which can leave you feeling either mentally numb for weeks on end or straight up feeling cognitively more "stupid". By this I don't mean you going from MENSA Stephen Hawking level of smartness to full on double-digit simple minded mode, but you will feel like it's harder to comprehend or understand or remember stuff. K is bad. Like, on meth level of bad. That thing is pretty much tranquiliser. Don't need to elaborate more. PSA: I am not advocating for nor normalising drug usage. I'm just laying out the facts both from personal experience and research online. Quote

All I see is you being targeted and olhence being offended (just like how you accused me of being a druggie, which is way worse than being accused of being a fatty). Attacking his circle of friends? I have friends who don't work out too. What's so wrong with that? It is you, you think it is wrong lmao. You are the fat phobic one. And quoting me without explaining, so many words all empty vessels. "normal sincere and innocent gays" 😂😂😂😂🤢 Stop. Just stop it guest. We get it you are fat and unhappy, stop letting it slip. As for my boob, I'm checking them, not saggy. But hey, I can't attack a guest for his body can I? Heh. Trashy unclassy gays, the best bw has to offer are trashy unclasy gay guests. I wanna +1 on this. As I follow the posts, I find it inconsiderate for someone fat enjoying others' misfortune. Ethically this is the type of mindset we should stop encouraging, isn't it? Equally toxic. Quote
Guest SG Gay Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Yes, they are the talking points that I have been taught with and strongly believe. Also, you don’t have to be over 100 years old to actually witness the dead body parts, pls. There were recent cases which, if you had done better research, you can find it. And bruh, I’m not that dumb. If i want him to share his contact details, I wouldn’t need to ask in the first place. Also, why are you scared of CNB and their powers if you’re not doing anything wrong? Don't be too rushed to reply. Do up your research first, and then reply ok? I’ll wait. and oh, opium was already in existence way before the British occupancy in Malaya (see, research will do you good). First off, not scared, just calling out a Glowie when I see one. Secondly, we're not talking about whether opium was existing way before the British colonisation of Malaya and Singapore. Irrelevant diversion. Third, anonymous acct asking another anonymous acct to share personal contact details if they "want to discuss and take it offline". Someone has no brains. Fourth, glad you're comfortable drinking the gov koolaid on being anti-drug as a dogma. Once again, I know a glowie when I see one. Quote

But hey, if you choose to believe otherwise it your choice. I am all but an “unclassy guest” account anyway. I just dislike how you targeted him for his size and him feeling good about himself. Why must you rain on someone’s parade? Do you like it if I come at you for having a lean body but still single? No right? So please, whatever issues you have or may not have with him, be nice. That’s all the community needs. We don’t need another asshole going around ruining others. And by the way, I didn’t accuse you. I merely asked a question. Glad that your boobs are okay. Maybe you can update to a more recent pic. It’ll help. If I choose to believe it? Look at your replies they're reaching for miserable crap that isn't even there. Rain on his parade for feeling happy about someone else's downfall? The difference is again I quote myself, "nobody is going to be happy when ur dead fat ass is gone" U like him, he is thrilled at someone's demise. And oh look "I'm neither fat mor unhappy but hey you, you definitely lean and single" Bro the hypocrisy is so filthy, no happy person says things like this. Sickening. No wonder I only look for sex on bw. Because anything deeper is even trashier than just sex. Thanks for putting on to bw how gays are just horrible people who get a kick out of watching people drown. Bro, Sinkie pwn Sinkie is a national mentality, it's not just gays who display this. Straight people are just as ferocious and heartless too. Also, FYI most gays in SG are only out there mainly to look for sex with their own kind. It's a minority of them who are interested in looking for romance. After all, why would they dare to hope that they can find love in a country which refuses to recognise legal equality between a same-sex and heterosexual couple? Sex is the main motivation for the majority of gays seeking connection with other gays in SG. If it isn't, we'd see way more male platonic friendships out there. Quote

Like their hate towards drugs is very disproportionate and misguided. Ok disclaimer: I used to be in the circuit scene. But I never really understood why so many Singaporeans have such a strong hatred towards drugs. A lot of Singaporeans will say shit like 'Oh drugs destroy lives and families'. But here's the thing – this whole incident happened right here in Singapore. So, we've got to factor in our own context, which is pretty different from what you might find overseas. You know, Singapore is known for having really draconian laws, and we're talking about SUPER STRICT. Our laws don't mess around. If it's considered an illicit drug, there's zero tolerance for it, whether it's a "soft" drug or a "hard" drug. Whether these laws are about being moral or not, that's a whole different discussion. You can tell me that E is safe, I can also tell you E is safe, but it is irrelevant because we are not lawmakers. What matters here is that these laws are the rules we play by. When we talk about arrests and actions taken by SPF and the CNB, which was exactly what happened here, these guys are not sitting around debating whether a particular drug is good or bad in terms of morals or which one has the highest probability of ruining lives; we are talking about whether it is within the lines of the law. While it might appear that Singaporeans hold an unusually strong stance against drugs, it is crucial to consider Singapore's cultural context. Our society places significant emphasis on adhering to laws and regulations, which influence our perspectives on controlled substances, especially recreational drugs. This is particularly relevant given that Singapore has some of the strictest drug laws globally, and such zero tolerance towards drugs has been instilled in us from a young age through education and upbringing. Laws reinforce the expectations of what is acceptable and unacceptable conduct within society, and as we observe the consequences of crimes, we internalise the message that certain behaviours are not tolerated, leading to a cultural norm of adhering to rules. You can't be expecting a society where we are raised to be liberal and accustomed to recreational drug use when our laws reflect the complete opposite; it simply just doesn't make sense because societal norms influence laws, just like how laws also influence societal norms. No lawmakers will press for the harsh punishments and education on drug use if the entire population holds a contrasting view. With regards to the legalisation of gay sex, it is true that societal perceptions can evolve over time. However, it is crucial to appreciate the context in which these changes occur. In recent years, there has been a notable increase in our exposure to LGBT media, portraying this community in a positive light. We have moved beyond the era when gay individuals were depicted as HIV-ridden or mischaracterised as perverts in media. However, in the case of drugs, the narrative unfortunately remains largely negative. Positive representation for drug-related subjects is minimal. Perhaps, in recent years, there has been a slight shift in the perception of cannabis in Singapore, primarily influenced by its legalisation in other parts of the world, with some youths beginning to view it in a more favourable light. But this transformation is occurring at a sluggish pace. If cannabis is still met with disapproval by the majority of our population today, you can forget about discussing substances like ecstasy and ketamine. The entire society is not going to miraculously change their views tomorrow just because a fraction of you wants to consume your ecstasy and snort your ketamine without getting into legal trouble. You have pointed out the potential risks associated with alcohol, and it is indeed a valid comparison to consider. Drawing a direct equivalence between alcohol and recreational drugs can oversimplify the complexities involved. The legal frameworks, cultural acceptance, and societal perceptions of these substances are very different. Alcohol's long-standing legal status and cultural normalisation contribute to its widespread use today but are still regulated to some extent. The same cannot be said for recreational drugs, where legal consequences and stigmatisation are more severe. We can look at New Zealand's move to ban cigarette sales for people born after a certain year and implement it towards alcohol, since it similarly causes death like what you mentioned. However, it makes us wonder: Could we do something similar for alcohol, given its harmful effects? But it leads us to ask a bigger question – do we really want to take such strong steps? This makes us consider if these approaches fit with what our society wants and believes. You said you used to be a party boy, so if we were to ban alcohol, do you want to be going for all your parties with no alcohol? You bring up the success of the "circuit gays" and their high-flying careers. While it is great to hear about their achievements, it is not blanket proof that recreational drugs are completely harmless. The experiences of the socially visible selected few do not nullify the potential adverse consequences that substance abuse may have on others. Changing the way society thinks towards drug use is tough, and until that happens, you should continue to strict laws and strong negative views. Quote
Guest Research Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Let’s go back to the main discussion. No point debating about fat or fit. The good looking/fit are always the minority and deserved to be hated by the majority /s. I have come to term with it my whole life and won’t waste time calling out such (add any adjective) behaviour. Though WightTongue I do share your discomfort when reading that post. This thread is educating, I will read up more about opium trade history. And also hope the drug distributor and main source will get caught, in order to eliminate the root cause. Quote

Guest SG Gay Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Changing the way society thinks towards drug use is tough, and until that happens, you should continue to strict laws and strong negative views. Either that, or just vote with your feet and go somewhere else more permissive towards drug use. This is no insult by the way to anybody reading. Fact is more and more young Singaporeans would look towards migrating out of SG to other countries if and when they have the money and means to do so. The most effective way of inflicting political and societal change is through migration. To show what kind of societies are going to be desirable vibrant and attractive in the future, and what kind of societies are undesirable stagnant and repressive to flee from. Quote

Sex is the main motivation for the majority of gays seeking connection with other gays in SG. If it isn't, we'd see way more male platonic friendships out there. This may be true for gays everywhere. But it happens that even if you are only looking for sex, romance may be looking for you. And when romance and love hits, it is not so important how the country will recognize equalities. Sex is usually the main motivation, but even if the sex is not completely successful in the interaction, platonic friendships can develop. There are some advantages in being a senior. Without giving up on happiness, one may lose interest in participating in sex orgies, therefore there is no risk of being caught and busted in a drug raid. The oldest arrested in this drug raid is 46, and no 80 year old, nearly twice that age, was arrested. Quote
mate69 Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 The party was NOT an orgy. It was just a home par. The hotel was in sentosa and it was a private gathering, meaning there is no entrance fee. You can only get in if you're invited by the hosts or one of the host's close friends. The host is a very high profile IG famous gay with over 50k followers and his doctor boyfriend. The participants are all your typical IG famous circuit boys It's amusing that a lot of these participants are now posting on IG as if to make it seem like they weren't locked up last week with their phones confiscated. Oh yes very high profile indeed Sigh fab 1 Quote

That is something I believed too, until I started living overseas and realised how normalised drugs are in other countries and it's really not a big deal, which is why drugs are legalised in more and more countries. Bro, your post can unknowingly be very dangerous and irresponsible for a young mind reading this. Perhaps you have been living or used to living the privileged life but how is "drugs destroy lives and families" shit or 'not true at all'. Do you know there are actual SG cases of a young adult male murdering his mum and grandma under the influence of drugs, and an elderly woman getting robbed and stabbed in her own home? The robber needed money to pay for his drugs. How many cases of drug abusers jumping down. How many cases of robberies, fatal car accidents or even rapes committed under the influence of drugs. The grieves are most felt by their family members. Imagine it happens to you. And then, the dangerous thinking that 'recreational drugs are quite harmless'. This is how generation of older gays lure the young, naive and impressionable minds to start recreational use. "Don't worry, you wont get addicted" , "Just try one time, ok one". You go into a temporary state of euphoria, when effects are over, you are back to reality. You crave for that euphoria, and you do it again. Up to a certain time, your body get used to it, and you increase dosage bit by bit, bit by bit, to get the desired euphoria. There is a fine line between usage and abuse. You tell yourself you are not addicted. The issue of dependency and health issues seem less severe. Hence, many recreational users believe they are in control and can stop anytime. The sad truth is, the person who 'just wanna try' is still doing it 10 years later. The young adult male who wanna try one time 3 years ago, is still doing it today for the euphoria. And he is surrounded by 'like-minded friends'. Is this what is happening to this group of users, I shall not comment. Recreational users think it's worth it to get into the state of euphoria, but forgot the bit by bit damage to their brain, neurotransmitters and organs. And there is the dangerous but common tendency for some recreational users to start exploring with other substances, and eventually become abusers. Drugs, raw sex, HIV, AIDS. Sounds familiar? The danger and damage can be magnified. But let's not go into that. Dun get me wrong, I'm not Mr moral-high-values, I'm also a gay man who do hook up and party here and there. But I hold onto my decision of not meddling into drugs. If you know there might be consequences and is unacceptable, dun start. If you are a young gay reading this, I hope you know happiness is not found within drugs. Quote
Guest Ex. Druggie Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I don't sanction the use of drug. It's so stupid. But damn, I got aroused thinking that there is 49 guys who decided to go for an orgy party. I got hard thinking which one is the bottom. Some got nice body, head shape. Haircut. Yum. But sadly seems like no daddies in the crowd. Very not diverse. Anyway who are all the high profile gays in Singapore? Seems like i don't know anyone. Where does all this gays suddenly become high profile? I just need to start and IG account?? I remember when gays like to hide I closet out of free. Now so open ah? See. Get caught. Back in the days, I know a fuck buddy. He circuit boy. Went to those fridae party and used drug. Got caught. But not in news. Went jail. Came out must wear ankle bracelet so his whereabouts are monitored. I didnt even know he went jail. He was ashamed to tell me. Nevertheless he is hot, fit and very sexually. He opened up to me after he lost all his friends. Or rather he stopped being friends with those who did drugs. He blamed.his friends for influencing him to use drugs. He couldn't find a job after that, got criminal record. Even the job he could get are those very very low pay. He is a Business degree. But no reputable company want to hire someone who went to jail. His life is over. I helped him during his moment of weakness. I bought him food, I basically treated him like he is my husband and I will take care of him. I don't earn much. But enough for both of us to live a humble life. I really like him. Then one weekend I came home and smell the whole room got poppers smell. Yes, I know poppers is not drug. But he and I made a promise he won't use or touch any drug that enhance sex. His weakness is sex... I wouldn't say he is a drug addict. More like sex addict who found drugs made sex 10000x more enjoyable. I was sad. He betrayed my trust. He had few guys came over to bareback him. This was a time when prep doesn't exists yet. He felt useless. He felt that this is what he need to be. A cum dump to be used and abused by society. By the very gay brothers that destroyed his life. I cried when I saw him in that state. Part of me wanted to coddle him and help him. But I knew he is beyond help, so I ask him to leave by morning. He never contact me after that. I was heart broken but I moved on. Then one fine new year eve. 2010. I still remember. He drunk text me saying he missed me. I just ask him to go for. Out of frustration. He committed suicide that night. Drug destroyed his life and mine. I never had a gay relationship after him. Quote
Zyscgk Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Nobody thinks they r loved and respected. I just don't undstd how some of the gays here are so obsessed with them That’s true so why you moaning what’s beating discussed it. It’s real. Haha Quote
Zyscgk Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 I don't have friends who died from alcohol abuse. I don't have friends whose personality changed because of gin I have not seen a friend spiral in private after drinking. Nor have i seen friends become less functional when they stopped drinking for awhile. But, I've seen more than enough from friends on drugs to know what is at stake when drugs are involved. Sure, you can say E, K, G are harmless. But its that "almost nobody" bit that does it. And however harmless some drugs are, can you really say everybody starts off knowing the differences? Or is it really "almost nobody"? You can say circuit boys doing harmless shit but over the past 5 years, how many obituaries, memoriams, funerals have we already seen of these young gay men? I think Im done going for wakes. Aren't you? Are you kidding me? Alcoholism is a real thing! As bad as drugs. Quote
