Thanks for sharing. *Hugs*

Herpes (HSV1 or HSV2) is from virus and the infection is for life. As @Clive mentioned in small print in one of the posts above, many people live with HSV. If you go by the statistics and understand the nature of this infection, personally I would agree with the label of 'nuisance' rather than serious threat. It can be managed effectively. Need to watch out for breakouts and abstain when they happen.

The kicker is that facts don't help if your potential sex partner is ignorant and afraid. They run away from you when you tell them. Even though you would pose less risk (condition is known and managed) compared to someone who's not been tested recently. The mindset is totally wrong.

Yup, I am aware of the fact that HSV is very common. Either people know it (when surfaced) or they do not know it (either dun have or not surfaced yet)

My sentiments exactly on your second point.

Any open wounds, even small ones, on any part of the body that both parties know or do not know, can see or cannot see, might allow cross-infection or introduction of virus.

Our saliva, is a conduit or transport as well.

Does that include hiv and syphilis

You could find information from the internet these days but because you asked, just help answer abit.

HIV is a virus that spreads when blood, semen, pre-seminal fluids, rectal fluids etc, (guy-guy context) from an infected person enters the bloodstream of another person.

Having oral sex, unprotected anal sex allows the virus to cross the mucous members mentioned above or enters through even the smallest cuts or tiny cuts.

HIV is not spread through causal contact, air, water, saliva, sweat or insect bites.

Syphilis is a bacterial infection. Spreads mainly through direct contact with an infectious syphilis sore.

The bacteria pass through direct contact with sores during anal, or oral sex (in the case of guy-guy).

Sores can appear on the genitals, rectum, anus, or in and around the mouth. They are often painless.

The bacteria enter the body through minor cuts or through the insides of our body’s organs and cavities such as our nose, mouth and stomach.

While rarely, but it can spread through deep kissing if there is an active sore on or in the mouth, or through a shared injection equipment.

Syphilis is NOT spread through causal contact like sharing toilet seats, bathtubs or eating utensils.

hope these helps alittle.

Yes to many good posts above.

be aware, get informed, practice safe sex.

for those who plan to raw, consider get yourself PreP and PEP. And just develop habit of doing regular STI checks : if not for your partner, at least do it for yourself.

I'm wondering how much raw fun (i.e anal sex) actually goes on in the saunas in Singapore...

Is it really common, or is it still not the "norm" like in the West here?

I only visit around Nov-Dec time for about 8 weeks, and I would say for me, about 90%, don't mind pumping me full of cum. I am on prep and pep and do checkups regularly.

Whenever I am in the upstairs orgy room, I don't see a lot of condoms floating around. But that is a small sample of a big picture, so not sure of how accurate that would be.

Guys, always practice safe sex. Wear the protective gear 🪖 During pounding, pathogens may enter into blood stream through tears on both sides. Multiple partners at random like in sauna is risky. Not all STDs are curable, some stays for the rest of our life. Staying monogamous cuts the risk. Sex becomes love making and it's more enjoyable and meaningful 😉

I can confirm very very common. Hardly any tops insist on having condoms. Maybe they feel they have lower risk. And even if you do and after fucking a while, I removed it to suck again they usually will just continue and filled me up with their cum. No top ever said no to doing that after I removed the condom, unless they couldn't hold it and came in my mouth.

That sound so hot….albeit dangerous🤣

Recently, I have only handjob (no oral or anal sex) just touching in a toiler and got me HPV.
The doctor explained that direct skin-to-skin contact carries a risk of transmitting sexually transmitted diseases (STD) also. Fortunately, my condition is still in its early stages and can be removed via laser treatment.

So be careful guys, even if that person tells you they are fine/clean.

Ah 😱 you just got it through handjob! Can you kindly share more of what the doc did for you through the laser treatment please?
what was he removing from you and at which part of the body? Thanks 🙏🏼

@FBN thanks for sharing. Good to know that you got it addressed quickly.

As someone mentioned before, there's vaccine for HPV.

And for hand jobs, the giver can put on nitrile gloves and use lube. It glides more smoothly than bare hands. Less friction, less energy required, not so tiring. Besides protecting the hands from infection.

Yes, it was just masturbation. The doctor removed the warts with a laser and I get the HPV vaccine also.
