exploringaround Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Heard a video another 13 from le labo is quite popular within the community with it being used by 0s and 1s as it supposed smell like pheromones. I do own a 15ml of it and it does smell really good that I would like to get a full size of it. It smells a little fruity and pear forward on the top note but can't really describe what it's in the middle and bottom note but it's oddly comforting. The longevity and silage is probably what makes it stand out to me, it lasted me from 8am to 6pmish and from what I saw from reviews from users it got them chased down by others as it left a scent trail while some noting that it is a skin scent. On me, I wouldn't say it's a skin scent as it's quite strong when it's first sprayed on but it does leave a noticeable presence. Quote
cbm Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Fragrances from Le Labo are worn by both men and women. The pheromone/skin scent that you are describing about Another 13 is likely because of Iso E Super. This ingredient adjusts scent according to a person's skin and body heat. When it comes to play, I can't decide if fragrances are a good thing or a bad thing. On the one hand, he smells nice. On the other hand, when I kiss and lick his neck, the perfume taste is urgh. Quote
cbm Posted September 27 Posted September 27 (edited) On me you would be smelling Armaf Club de Nuit Iconic, which is like Bleu de Chanel without the mark up. And for special occasions I would go with an oud like fragrance. On a man, I tend to like blue type fragrances too, such as YSL Y. Dior Sauvage is no for me though, and Ambroxan based fragrances in general. I don't like the powdery smell. Edited September 27 by cbm Quote
doncoin Posted September 27 Posted September 27 (edited) So the past 2 years plus, my primary scent has been Soie Malaquais by Dries van Noten. Usually I layer with Santal Greenery also by DVN for the day/office, but for evenings, if i want a bolder scent, I go with Muscle Leather from Studio Ready. Edited September 27 by doncoin Quote Love.
Eddie Adrika Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) @exploringaround Bitter Peach by Tom Ford is my guilty pleasure in a bottle. The moment it hits my skin, it’s like biting into a peach that’s just past ripe… juicy, wine-dark, and dripping with sweetness, but with that dangerous edge that keeps you hooked. Then the boozy warmth of cognac and rum slides in, wrapping the fruit in this sultry haze that feels almost intoxicating. Hours later, it melts into a resinous, woody base that clings close, like a secret only those near me get to share. It’s playful at first, then turns wickedly seductive as the day goes on and that’s exactly why I love it. Bitter Peach isn’t shy, it’s bold, unapologetic, and always gets me noticed. Every time I wear it, I feel like I’m carrying a little scandal on my skin… and honestly, that’s the thrill. Edited September 28 by Eddie Adrika Quote

Guest Rupert Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Anyone ever bought middle eastern perfume oils from Arab Street areas and North Bridge Road . For eg. Jamal Kazura fragrances. They are made from more naturally derived ingredients and last pretty long if you layer them Modern western fragrance uses chemically synthethise base . Traditional ones have more natural ingredients. Jamal Kazura fragrances Quote
Harman Posted September 29 Posted September 29 For me I usually use Glade or Ambipur. But when attending events, I'll wear IMPULSE. doncoin 1 Quote
cbm Posted September 29 Posted September 29 @Harman Nice. Impulse is such a classic. It exudes the scent of a woman. A woman who is now in her sixties or older. What type of ladies dress do you wear when attending events? cutejack 1 Quote
