At the serious places, you first see a doctor who assesses your type (that defines the oil that will be used) and discuss with what the massage can help you with. Massage bed is usually a wood table, of Neem wood that has healing benefits. I think depends on which outlet. I’ve been to Ayush and Amrita. I think both used different type of oil... Amrita’ oil smell is not as strong (or can say not much smell) as the ones in Ayush....
