This may be the second time I'm doing this, but it is worth a shot.

Calling all students from the 3 main Us (NUS, NTU, SMU). Time to unite! (and also kei-po about each other  )

Other students from local tertiary education may also participate, but most importantly we wanna consolidate our network within the 3 Us.

PS: Moderator, could you help me merge all NUS, NTU and SMU threads? Thank you!

It seems to me that the NUS, NTU and SMU threads are separate so that people can find people who are in their own schools, instead of having to filter different conversations - why don't you have this thread in addition to those threads?

Oh, I'll be like moderating the name list of people from each of the unis. I've thought about finding each other already. It will be a tedious task, but it has to be done.

@ lawrencechua

Yeps, just reminded me. I just added SIM category. For polies and JCs, have to remind me first then I can create a new category. For now, these are the ones known in this thread.

@ Euouae90

I waiting for you to reply mar~ :P

So is this for existing undergrads of the said universities, or anyone who's been through them can add themselves in, ie, alumni? If the former, I'd suggest double-checking the ages of those who try to sign up (I'm certainly beyond the age group). If the latter, than how does it differ from the existing Alumni bodies?

And I'd definitely feel suspicious of some particular individual's intent(s). Threadstarter, feel free to PM me as to who I am referring to (if it isn't obvious).

@ darkflame

No worries, I'll start recording for you anyway since you're still a current student. Maybe there are other SIM students here who can contact you until your graduation.

@ MeowPrince

This is for existing students as registered from the starting date of this thread, a platform for them to easily contact and get acquainted with each other. Since I see so many separate threads of the universities, might as well lump them together. Further contact can be done by PM or external of BW.

Sadly, this means the alumni are excluded. But by all means, alumnis can leave their identity here. It's just that I won't furnish an update of their information in the first post.

And like I have said, the main aim of this post is for internal networking. Who knows, with a large enough interest group in each campus, maybe we can get something done.

and oh yar, if anybody is worried about hanky-panky stuff, the reason I placed this is in Member's Lounge is so that 'guests' will not troll it and the people who reply can always be looked up for trustworthiness.

For me, de-stressing would be a lie on the bed in silence, contemplating why the bloody hell I got myself in it in the first place (my motivations and purposes).

and then after it all, a sigh and shout: "for humanity, I will!"

I see. Haha, election day falls on the weekend between 2 major examinations for me. :swear:

My friend is studying management with specialisation in HRM I think. Not too sure about SIM-RMIT because I'm from SIM-UOL.

Hi, just a PT SIM here too... same as icy_ter... i also preparing my final paper...

UOL is not easy as all the exams are normally at the end of the year.. in short.. you are taking 6 paper in 1 month? And only write exam papers.. no projects... (good in someways.....)

Yeah it's not easy. You need the discipline to study it.

I heard about Construction Management in the SIM ads.

Haha, I have like less than 14 days to prepare. Got do some preparation but to me, nothing is enough.

If you're completing your UOL degree in 3 years, you can take 4 modules per semester/year. 6 papers occurs when you did exemptions or you have failed 2 modules in the previous years. But usually 5 papers are the best you can be efficient at. 6 or 7 modules are enough to kill you.

UOL is said to be only good if you're really exam-smart. :(

It used to be special.

But now since so many people love taking it, it's like some general degree now.

Personally, I don't really like their business major because it's too vague.

Which is why I chose Economics & Management as my major.
