Thinking of waxing all the hair off my body (trust me i got waay too much) from shoulder down.

Anyone got any advice on wherei could go to get it done? Cost effective solutions will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance guys!! :)

You might want to try sugaring, which is less painful. You can even make the sugaring paste at home and learn how to remove the hair yourself. Just might need help doing the back, perhaps.

That will likely be most cost effective. Heh.

You can go to Thomas de estique if you have budget, that salon exclusively waxes males only, no ladies.

Alternatively u can go to strip co-Ed which is a unisex salon that waxes males and females, it's less expensive but the therapists there may not be as specialised as they wax female clients too. You can choose if you want a female or male waxer. I personally go to strip myself.

Do give these places a search on the Internet :)

I heard Thomas DE is good.

Fabulous Tan also does waxing all the way to boyzillian waxing. If you need to do it frequently they also have packages.

Caveat : I have not experienced it myself, just know through research cos have been thinking of waxing myself hahah :P

Alternatively ... leave your hair on ... there are ppl who are turned on by hair :) .. maybe just trim certain areas .. if you get what i mean :P

what's your experience with Strip? I've been thinking about it but never had the guts to go cos of the pain as well as the embarassment of getting my pubes waxed... did u choose a male or female waxer?

It was quite good an experience.. The first time it hurt quite a bit but they medicated the area so it wouldn't get infected.. I chose female waxer, I dislike other men touching me unless I like them :D

actually, i signed up with Strip... i usually go to Strip @ Paragon cos that is where my wax therapist, Scott, works...

i have been waxing with him for abt 3 yrs... so i do look upon him as a fren...

i was as nervous and clueless as ur when i did it initially.... but he made so comfortable...

the 1st session is generally painful.... but waxing keeps the hair from growing out, for at least 6 weeks... even if grows back, it will be softer as compared to shaving.... continuous waxing does make the hair finer.... just my observation....

@passby: well, yes... a very typical british bloke... shaved head, blue eyes, nice deep growl to his voice, very friendly, chatty and he makes me comfortable...

totally breaking all stereotype of a male wax therapist.... oh, and he's just got married...

@stiffneck: did wax the crack area... seems ok... kinda slippery when ur sweating... but that's abt it...
