They discount love to lusts and in desperation to fill up their loneliness. Then the unhappiness creeps in making their lives more miserable. They repeat the cycle without learning what mistakes they committed before resulting to yet another failed relationship. That is why self love is very important. That is why embracing being alone not necessarily loneliness is important. We learn to educate ourselves how to love ourselves and make ourselves happy. When we are able to do that, we are able to love other people better and guide other people to love us better. Until self love becomes our daily practice, love and being in love will just be a wastage of our time and energy because we don't know what is love and how to love and how to be loved as much as we think we know. We are in denial. Yeah it's dumb but some people are probably just wired to be assholes. If you're confident with your body (or just really have no fucks to give), then what people say about you won't really bother you. Face and body can always change if you lose/gain weight, gain muscle or otherwise, so no problems there. Let them say what they want to say. Idk man. Sure I'm really self-conscious about my body and I am in no place to say that I feel like I'm good looking, but I know I'm a good person and I will lose weight in my own time and speed and no one's gonna change that. A few hours before that, another friend sent a text message he did what he needed to do and moving on has never been easy. I am a man of creating memories. I made tonnes of memories to what my friend had let go. Memories I would treasure. I didn't write much except a smiley emoji and a rose emoji.
