Actually, if you're looking to buy some sounds, check out the websites: 1) shopee,  2)  Qoo10  and  3) aliexpress.

I've actually bought some sounds.

 

Start off by measuring your peehole... then you will know the diameter of the sound you need to buy. If you want to splurge and buy a whole set then go ahead and do that... but just know that the smaller diameter sounds in the set are going to be wasted, as you'll not bother to use it.

The median peehole of an adult is generally 8mm in diameter, so you could start with a 6 or 7mm just to have a initial smooth insertion and painless.... There must be NO PAIN !!!  STOP Otherwise!!

The general sensation as you slide the sound in and out in short strokes initially will be intense... soon you will get accustomed you to the limits you have.

I do agree with you about the hygiene considerations. Very important to use sterile items. This includes placing the sounds in an autoclave or at least boiling them for at least 15 minutes. Also, to use alcohol swabs to sterilise the sound and key areas before play. Lastly, to use sterile lube in small sachets. No point using sterile lube in a tube, since the sterile nature is lost once the lube is opened to the air.

the diameter of one's peehole is generally relative to the cok size, though not always.
