Going there next month and wanted to do the ring road.I was there for 4 days I think. Extended to 5 due to the volcanic ash. I did the tour to the geyser and waterfall. I thought all tours to the falls will have ceased by then. You can still go to the falls during that period of time. The tours to take the boat ride up close to the falls and the walkways down the falls will close for winter for both American and Canadian side. The historical cities of Mandalay and Bagan should top the list for this visit. Last year i did a 3 day 2 night hiking trip to Inle Lake and was completely mesmerized by the beauty of the culture and the sceneries.I dont mind paying for some expenses such as accomodation just to kill the boredom of travelling alone.
