Guest Guest_rusty Posted October 29, 2005 Report Share Posted October 29, 2005 hi,you can try paul monette if you like poetic prose.he wrote in a narrative style that is beautiful and honest,with a tinge of sadness.died of aids in the early 90s.david leavitt is not too bad too.national library has his books.michael cunningham,author of the hours,wrote this book-- a home at the end of the worldwhich is made into a movie starring collin farrell.can get at major bookshop.other good books--swimming pool libraryany by alan hollinghusrtany by edmund whitestill have others,but cant think now..brain dead.
