windanseaguy
Anyone here has recommendations for italian restaurants in Singapore? So far i have tried Pasta Brava, Etna italian restaurant, and Capri at Binjai Park. I heard Valentino at the Grandstand is worth trying. Any other restaurants? glowingember
I started out with Pasta Mania...but have moved on. Been to Pasta Bravia once. Good ambience and tasty.Warauku is quite decent for a japanese restaurant. (I know...Italian food in a japanese restaurant)I usually go to Prego at Raffles City. Love their freshly-baked bread and the tomato thing but their bread has become smaller.I remember their tiramisu used to have vodka but these days I can't taste it anymore. I've just been to Amici Authentic Italian Restaurant at Holland V.I got the groupon then I saw the bad reviews. But surprisingly, my experience was different from the reviews. The service was commendable. The meat in the crabmeat pasta was succulent and spicy. A little like the chilli shrimp paste and the pasta was al dente.Had the pizza (a few types of cheese). It was thin and crusted on the side. Nice.Lastly, we ordered a tiramisu. This one has vodka...:-)After the groupon discount, it was $50 for 2 pax.It has an open-concept kitchen and the 3 chefs are quite fun to look at...especially the hip ah-beng chef. cancer75 1 Quote After all, tomorrow is another day. ~ S O'Hara
muddywill
Italian food is relatively easy to make. Buy some quality ingredients and there you go. I always feel guilty about paying for Italian food when I know I could easily make it myself at home.
