IkuTube
I would go for a webcam that supports CCD Sensor technology - meaning, it does not require a bright light to capture a clear image. GachiMuchi
One of my friend's friend bought a web cam for me in China. It cost about $10-15, but the picture quality (1.3 megapix) is fantastic. It is even better than my Logitech $100+ web cam. I saw those with LED lights on the side selling about $15-20 at the recent PC show at Suntec.May I suggest you take a walk at Sim Lim. I think there are selling there. Remember not to pay more than $20. It's is C&G. (cheap & good) Quote http://gachimuchi2008.blogspot.com
bukitpanjang
I would go for a webcam that supports CCD Sensor technology - meaning, it does not require a bright light to capture a clear image. i tried a creative webcam with ccd sensor before. I was rather disappointed with the quality. In fact the ms and logitech i am using now are a lot better at low light situations as compared to that creative one (NX Ultra) and ccd was rather expensive so spent about $100 on that creative cam. on the box it did mention about good quality images under low light, but that wasn't the case.either way, cmos technology and ccd technology can be considered on par.otherwise we would not be seeing cmos sensors on video cams nowadays.is cmos better den ccd? chubbylover
I have used a 3COM, logitech and Creative webcams at different stages, and found that all of them grows blur blur after 1-2 years. No matter how I adjust the picture quality or turn the focus knob, it is still super blur. Anyone having this issue? How to rectify it? I suspect its the inside of the webcam that is dirty, so I tear it apart and inspect the inside but found that it is clean leh....is this something donw by these IT companies to ensure that their webcams self destruct in 1-2 years time, so that they can get rid of existing stock?
