Of course, the most delicious food is the one I cook for myself. I usually like meat or fish for dinner, so it takes about 2 hours to cook. Otherwise, the process itself is more enjoyable than eating food. I have everything in my kitchen to create a culinary masterpiece and I am ready to spend my time on it. Most recently, I updated my kitchen and replaced the stove, oven, refrigerator, and also ordered white granite countertops. I managed to create a unique design and I am delighted with the result. I often think about creating my own YouTube channel to share with all my recipes.

Hope to see you in Youtube @manchi  , with your food and your nicely designed kitchen.

I am not a good cook but out of necessity I am trying to cook dishes I grew up with. One of which is this Sinigang from Philippines. The good news is there are Asian stores here in Germany so I can buy vegetabkes and seasonings from Asia. Let’s eat.

I envy you guys who have the dedication and good taste to prepare your delicious foods.

I prepare all my food myself, breakfast, lunch, dinner, now living alone for several years. I cook on the gas stove my main dish of lentils with vegetables every 3 days in about 20 minutes,  and all the rest is cooked in the microwave in minutes.  Also meat, chicken and fish I microwave,  except for occasional barbeques of steaks. Being alone, I don't just sit at the table to eat, but I eat while sitting at the computer or at the television.  This will of course change whenever I live again with another person.

I have a good kitchen with all what a good cook needs, but I am very plain with food.  However, I hope this will help me to be around and eating for many more years. :)

What I see in your pictures also looks so healthy!   You surely will be around and eating for many, many more years. :thumb:

I am not an expert in microwave cooking but I only use it for reheating.

Actually I have a cookbook or minicookbook that I bought in Popular bookstore before: Microwave Cooking - dinner.

Let me try it this weekend and cook one of the recipes listed below.

I haven’t mastered cooking chicken in microwave oven that will not make it hard as a rock.
