Dorkable
Went to the 3 months old Crossings Cafe at 55 Waterloo Street today for lunch. Below are some pics I grabbed: Lindemans Peach Beer ($8.50) ---> Truffle Fries ($6) ---> ^^^ ^^^Crisp Greens & Honey Tangerine Salad Honey Mustard Ribs ($18) ^^^ Chef's Favorite Chilli Crab Pasta ($16) Very cheery, clean and comfortable place with free Wifi to chill and to dine in. Dish proportions are quite large. Quality cooking with appealing presentation. This social enterprise (with 11 Roman Catholic donor-investors) made news as it employs youths who failed to do well in school and facing potential employment advancements. On top of that, all profits made go to charities. Will swing by again another time to try their Baked Black Pepper Chicken Rice as well as Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagna.
