Thai Food

I had dinner with 6 of my best friends at Chonburi Mookata House last night. Its located at blk 421, Ang Mo Kio ave 10. We all enjoyed our dinner very much and its a great gathering and dinner together. The owner is very friendly and cheerful. :thumb:

Its my 6 visits  at Chonburi Mookata House. I was there on sunday with my family and we all had a great time eating and enjoyed ourselves. They started off half unit and less then 2 months they had moved to a big unit at the same place. The owner are very friendly and provide very good service. Theres 2 types of chilli, one is sweet the other is hot. But both work out very well with the bbq food. You must check it out and you will know what i mean. Am not related to them but just share it with all. :thumb:

One of my best friend just got back from London and I decided to have a gathering together with my other friends. We had a good time last night enjoying the bbq. The sets are very reasonable too. Not to forget the soup and the chilli sauce that works very well with the bbq.

1 lb chicken1 thinly sliced chili pepper1 cup coconut milk1-2 tablespoons green curry paste6-7 quartered eggplants2 tablespoons fish sauce4-5 kaffir lime leaves1/4 cup pea eggplant1 tablespoon sugar3 sprigs Thai basil1 cup water

Tips and TechniquesSome brands of green curry paste can be very spicy hot. Start with one tablespoon first before increasing the amount.Green curry should not be sweet like dessert but should have a hint of sweet.If you curry paste is old or not quite green, add a few ground  fresh pepper leaves in.  If fresh pepper leaves are not available, use mild leafy green instead. This will give you beautiful fresh green without the heat like chili pepper would.
