I actually like it better like this, Singapore used to be like that, peaceful and quiet.

 

Until the government decide to let foreigners in, everywhere I go, from public transport to coffee shop to NTUC, is jam packed with Indians, Pinoys, China, Msians... argh

Posting this lying on the bed of a hotel room in Bangkok on CNY. Haven't spent CNY outside Singapore alone before. It's a great feeling, and outside temperature is 17 deg c. Bangkok has never been so cold before.

not true actually....was taking mrt yesterday and is packed with indian, pinoys and china workers who stay behind....u get only less locals and Malaysian as they travel out of the country but foreigners are still there and since it is their off day, they are out in full force....

This is only suitable read for those 45 years old and above.

 

This morning I was a little sentimental and nostalgic.

I took out my entire vinyl and CD collection of my favourite singer, the Diva-ish Cai Qin and started to listen to her.... 把蔡琴的旧唱片/CD拿出来。。重温老歌。。。有兴趣的话。。可以来欣赏。。。心情都被软化。。。乌云渐渐闪走。。明天会跟好。。猴赛雷。。。

 

还有，三张DVD-2001，2007 （不了情） 和2010 （海上良宵）演唱会。。

我们就这样决定。。。只为了那浪花的手。。

（最近，常常听到邓丽君小姐柔情版本-Pioneer Generation）

If time permits, gym + swim are still the best ways to kill time, with at least 4 hours of your waking hours spent.

 

Back in Singapore for CNY, so I really enjoyed lots of kopitiam, starbucks and McDonald's.

The rare 2 weeks where I feel human before I reconvert to a human machine in Tokyo.

Thts gd, cos many coy who declared off the entire wk usually is forced leave, so needs to deduct 3 days of leave. Anyway, i needs to go back work tml liao.

surprising I took half a day to complete a project task for 2016 instead of at office premise.

 

verdict - no distraction from human being, phone, email and social media disruption.

 

* use another laptop

* comfortable ambience

the qn should direct to Mcd CNY promotion dept,

next, all the hawkers' , food centre and even some foodcourts and restaurants are not opened, so what else can they have it fast during the CNY period?

unless u go in a few days before, otherwise expect a 5 hour jam in and out the custom, jb shopping and Chinese owned shop will be closed too....can go gspa and spend the whole day there or stay at home and watch the 100 over free preview cable channels.. of course those into sauna can go and had a "gong xi fuck cai"

The mad rush to balik kampung would have started way before the CNY 1st day. As such I am going in on the CNY 1st day to enjoy myself the good food offering, shopping paradise and the exotic masseur that can be found on my iPad.

Not everyone will close.  Some jack up their prices to rip you off.  Selection of prostitutes will be less than usual too.  Plan your itinerary well.

For those without anything to do during Chinese New Year... why don't we form a group to get together to have fun at a hotel room. I can book at nice room at MBS at staff rate and we can all enjoy the view from the room and do whatever we feel like doing... sex is not mandatory but if two or more consenting adults want to, feel free to have 1-1 or even group sex. No age limit except of course over 21 and no condition on race, height, weight, sexual preference, religion, ethnicity, etc... just a group of lonely people having fun together to welcome the New Year.

So fast already 2022 and cny some more.Is lockdown over?Never step out for very long time.Just watch porn and order food delivery.Have survive since 2019 and2021 cny.Guess going to do the same for 2022 cny.Until gov say covid is over.
