The monk asked my birthday and my house number. Then his reply shocked me to the core. He told my sis not to waste any effort. Because in my life there is no women. He even told my sis i do not like girls OMG =O... then my sis asked does it mean he is gay? OMG The monk did not say more but smiled smiled which more or less telling my sis im gay!!! OMG... Thai monks are so exposed to gays in Thailand and some monks are even gays themselves. You don't have to act sissy, from the tone of your voice, the reaction in your eyes and even the angle you sit on the chair can also detect if you are gay. Perhaps this fortune teller is PLU hence he can tell? Years ago, my mum and I went to a Live Kuan Yin medium - a person who does not go into a complete trance but who supposedly Kuan Yin speaks through. I cant remember the details but she indirectly asked me if I was interested in guys. I said yes. My mum was not within good hearing distance and picked up bits and pieces but I think she did not want to know the truth too so perhaps mentally blocked out what she was hearing. What the medium then said made me think that this person is probably a good body language reader - it was not Kuan Yin speaking. She told me exercise more and bulk up so that I become more manly and not gay. Mwah hahaha. What a load of shit. If I bulked up and become more manly, I think I would attract more guys, not fewer. So, this mediums idea of gay was the traditional, gay = feminine. Also I believe Kuan Yin, truly compassionate, would never embarass someone like that or say something like that when ones mum is around. I have encountered one for myself, and his accuracy is so amazingly sharp it's really hard not to believe his capabilities. However, I must say some may not be welcoming to homosexuals like us, with them either in their human form, or spiritual form. However, that being said, I was told that they, at least the good ones, are tasked to help all who seek their help. But still, I guess it really depends on them on how to help and how much to help as well. But the sad fact remains that there are still con men around, masquerading as real deal. And for every one real deal, there might be 1000 con men around. If this is anything to go by as a gauge, the person did not ask for any big sums of money from me. Just telling you your fortune may be helpful somewhat, but when it comes to major matters, you need more than just fortune telling. The real ones may advise you on what to do, and maybe even let you have some talisman to carry around or burn. Again, I need to stress that the real one never asked me for any big bucks. But he has indeed helped me a lot. The kinder way which you mentioned may breed good karma in the long run. But in my case, I only managed to attract some really nasty schemers who started walking all over me and taking all my goodwill for granted. A simple advise from him which I followed helped to '"peck" away those unappreciative opportunistic backstabbers almost immediately. I started standing my ground more assertively and the backstabbers started backing off. Yes, it can really sound laughable if you think about it. But it definitely did helped. So while it is ok for everyone to have a healthy scepticism of everything, it's always good to keep an open mind about what we do not know yet. They summon wandering ghosts and offer the ghost with 'food' and 'accomodation', while the ghost will become the middleman btw the fortune teller and the other world. So after knowing the house address, the ghost will go to your house and ask other ghosts in the area about you and other stuff. Did you notice if your fortune teller stared at one side of his a few times when talking to you? By the way, remember to thank the fortune tellers after some prediction has come true. They are people who are more "gifted" than regular humans, and are usually monks, because duh, they are more spiritually inclined. The reason why we know so little about them is because, being already spiritually enlightened, they tend to meddle less into other people's affairs, and they usually keep to themselves. There are psychics that are benevolent and want to help, but there are also malevolent ones (eg. black magic practitioners). I believe that the monk that you met, is a psychic, but do be careful of scammers and cheaters. Moral of the story: Destiny lies in your hands. Visit a fortune teller/psychic at your own risk, because at the end of the day, everyone will only want to hear the good things, and not the bad things, that's how humans are.
