Guest Blake
Hey, I am either planning for travelling to Bali either this August around 20 or around October 2. No travel partner planned yet also. Thinking of going alone if none of my friends are willing to go. Any recommdation for cheap but good hotel?( around 50-80 a day is affordable for me) Cheaper better since i am still a student without stable income yet. Which beach is good? Also, will English language be okay there? What will be the expected meal price and activities prices? what will be the expectedly overall price? Any advice will be welcomed. can reply this thread or can PM me on line , "Bblakejohn21"

doddysapta
try booking accomodations from expedia, bookings or agoda. I can recommend Restu Bali Hotel or Hotel 101 next to it, or any hotels by Legian street. For youngsters, i would say Kuta is the place as they are hip, happening, relatively cheaper. Plus near beaches (Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu). Blue Bird group taxi and Uber are recommended. Or you can take motor taxi (ojek). Most people in Bali speak English, like in Bangkok. Dont eat at restaurant. Try to eat at street vendors by the beach or traditional markets. Or go to 7Eleven. But hey, the restaurants display their prices at front door, so you can consider beforehand. Activities really depends. I tried diving in Tulamben. The price was around SGD100 for pickup to-from Kuta, 2 dives, guide/Dive Master and lunch. Have fun! I myself will go on 18-21 Sep. This time i wanna explore Nusa Penida island, I heard they have fantastic view like Raja Ampat in Papua.
