Guest Guest
I think it's a great skill to have. Most master tailors are men, so don't be held back by some imagined gender stereotype. I can't sew to save my life, but I appreciate fine workmanship like even and close stitching.

Guest Those were the days
I volunteered to sew a broken army pants for my campmate. I felt so warm doing it for him, because I like him. He praised me for my skill and when he put them on during the next field training, I felt a comforting inner achievement.
