Its a fetish/personal like thing, like getting an ear ring, so whether it is worth it or not is totally dependent on you.

Am not sure if it is followed but normally if a person wears his penis on the right (trouser leg) side then the exit hole should be placed on the left of the frenum and vice verse if a person wears his penis on the left trouser leg. This is to ensure some comfort so that larger rings are not awkwardly bent and cause discomfort.

Mine was the reverse, ear piercing was more painful than my PA. PA was just a little pinch.

Only "slightly more painful". More or less comparable I guess. Those who think it is painful don't even have a PA, and have unfounded fear. I never regret getting a PA. It enhances my sex life so much.
