The palm detection works the same for all surface devices. Although not perfect, the palm feedback overwrite is good on its own. I own a surface so I can attest to it! on a side note, I'm more worried about putting weight on the top part of the screen cos it looks so malleable and there's no support on it. I can safely say that palm rejection for the surface studio will work even better. Pen wise, the surface pen definitely does not feel as pen-ish as the Apple Pencil.. the flat side of the pen used to magnetically adhere to the surface is sometimes awkward and uncomfortable.
