Actually I'm obsessed with beauty pageants, especially with Miss Universe LOL.   I have been watching Miss Universe every year since 1987 when Singapore hosted it.

Hello people

 

i'm a coordinator for a beauty pageant. Quite new to this job. We have a situation now. The winner got pregnant and we have to decide if she'll be dethroned.

She is a very nice girl but she can't fulfill much her duties. 

 

If the winner would become pregnant during her reign, could she be allowed to continue as to hold the title?

 

what do you think guys?

I think cannot if she can no longer represent the organization most of the time

Who do you think should win the next edition of Miss Universe? I’m still rooting to our very own Miss Singapore. Should thet really allow transgender to join?

There was a time when contestants who had plastic surgery weren't allowed. Is it still the same now? There was a korean pageant where all the gals look the same.

OMG, do you know that your question was the final question during Miss Universe 1999. The question goes like this : What if Miss Universe breaks the rule against getting pregnant during her reign? The top 3 finishers Miss Philippines, Miss Botswana and Miss Spain all answered similarly, to give an exception to this pageant rule.

 

 

Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth and most national pageants of each country disqualify pregnant contestants and will dethrone and/or replace the current titleholder who gets pregnant during her reign.

She is more beautiful now compared to when she won.

Its just that last time the trend was big hair, shoulder pads and thick eyebrows . Below is the new Barbara P. and the bottom one was a photo when she won. She is much better looking now.

Totally agree with you.

 

India was robbed. In my opinion Meenakshi Chaudhary should be the Miss Grand International 2018.

 

  1. Miss Paraguay fainted and for me to stand again in just seconds was mere acting or even overacting
  2. The final question was heard by all the Top 5, so for the last one who will answer the final question (that was mIss Indonesia), she had lots of time to think and create a great answer
  3. Miss Japan's interpreter was reading the answer from a cheat sheet
  4. 4 out of the 7 judges are previous Miss Grand International winners
  5. 2 judges are from Indonesia (making Miss Indonesia part of the Top 5 and eventually 2nd runner-up)
  6. Best in Evening Gown winner is from the preliminaries not from the top 10
  7. Best in Swimsuit winner is from the preliminaries not from the top 10

Miss Universe 2018 is queen Catriona Gray !!!!!  Maybe 1st runner up is Mexico .. and 3rd USA
